How do you guys manage HPA fills for outlaw games?

Scuba Tanks, fill stations... ?

1. What's the skinny on fill stations? I'm hoping to just borrow one or buy one used... is there a preferred brand?

2. Are Scuba tanks the only way to work this?

I'm looking for advice from players that have direct experience with this stuff... I have some assumptions, but I need clarification.

Thanks!

I would use Scuba tanks.

Look for one that holds up to 3300psi to 3442 PSI (steel)

Most are only 3000psi. These would be the cheapest. Make sure to check the Hydro date.

You can buy a Scuba fill station for around $50 or less.

The more tanks and fill stations the better. Run them cascading.

Here is a Fill station on Ebay for $24.50

ditto to EZD's post. I got my tank off ebay brand new for 170 shipped

I just did this on "paint" so if someone would like to redo it and make it look better I will not be offended :)

I do want to add that I am a very big fan of C02 when possible.

C02 is cheaper!
Easier to get refilled!
Last longer / more shots!

I am not a big fan of talking players into HP tanks at $60 plus. And then they have a hard time finding places to get them refills. Most lenk out over a short time and cost a dollar per 1000psi to refill.

yea, compressed air for outlaw games is only worth it if you can cascade. One scuba wont cut it. I used to use one scuba for like a couple weeks and just said screw it after a while, it wasnt worth it for me personally to spend the money to buy a couple more tanks.

however, if your a man with money than it should be a problem getting a few scubas.

Our tank uses scubas to power the quad gun, but it's more practical for that application than a fill station because it's only feeding four guns all day instead of everybody at the field.
