It worked good for the Resident Evil game so I will be doing this more.

Splat Tag is going to have a 1 on 1 paintball tournament.

Should it be on it's own day? or tied in with another event?

Also thinking of more then one.

One tournament for pistols and one for open class paintball guns.

Looking for feed back on all of this.

I do have some strong ideas already but I still want all of you input!

Remember we will be holding 100 events this year. :)

Sounds awesome D. I'd like to see it on it's own day.

Wel I guess you'd have to look at what type of cover an indavidual player would prefer, such as: leafless trees and brush would mean early spring or late fall. Full dressed woods would be your summer months or early fall. Or as the leaves are turning and getting ready to fall. I myself prefer the early or fall months. Still good cover and cooling down helps for a quick paced Game. Now if your looking for a fast moving tourney, then the spring early summer time, before the brush and trees leaf out, but still cool for a fast paced Game.;)
As for its own day, that would mean having to try and drive down there one more time adding to the 2-3 times a month already. I might suggest if you (EZD) are planning on a fall $5 Game that the 1 on 1 take place then, that way the less seasoned players that come out for the $5 Game would'nt quite get shot up by the more seasoned players that show up, they could play 1 on 1 against each other.;)
Either way, I'm in, but I have a feeling my trips will be limited this year, well atleast until things pick up at work.:eek:/AKA

Im thinking have it on the same day as another event. Im guessing its in the woods, which means you will have to set aside a separate area for it. It seems like there just might be a lot of waiting in between games even if the fields are broken up into smaller portions which would make for a slow and slightly boring day. Idk though how you would run it, just my 2 cents.

I think evolkers is right and it would be a rather slow day for play, gettin all those 1 on 1's lined up. I'd say prolly run it with other stuff, but it sounds fun either way!

Would pumps be in with the pistols? I think they should.

I agree, put it in with one event... possibly charge a really low amount like and extra $5 for the 1 on 1 tournament along with the regular fee for the senerio.

Maybe even break it up into a few different classes like no hopper (like pistols and stock class pumps...along with anything else with a stick feed type set up), semi, pump, and mixed.

10 rounds, on the field. Have to run and get your tube of paint then go after the other guy. To make it even more interesting, 12 grams only, and they are on the field. Do it in the urban speed ball field too. Would make games go quick too.
Pumps, semis and pistols could follow the same format, minus the air though.
