Every paintball company, team, club and player should do something to help promote World Paintball Day.

World Paintball Day
Held on the first Sunday after
Father's Day every year.

Sunday, June 28
The date for World Paintball Day is to honor the very first
paintball game ever played. It was held on the first
weekend after Father's Day in June of 1981.
World Paintball Day is a grassroots effort to
attract new players to paintball. This is a chance for
paintball companies to offer specials for new players
to come out and try paintball. What is offered is up to each
company. From food, discounts, to free entries or rentals.
Together we can help paintball grow.
We are asking field operators around the world to offer
some kind of special / event on World Paintball Day / Play Paintball Day.

Players should bring someone new out to try paintball on June 22, 2008.

It does not matter where you play, just that you play!

Contact your local paintball company
and ask if they are offering specials for
"World Paintball Day"

Yes this is the same day as the June Jungle Rumble.

And on the same day as:
Action Jack's - Spice Wars
Sure Shootin - The Bridge At Remagen

And many other events.

The more events the better.

Didn't you come up with the idea nate?

I remeber last year not makeing it to the game so I just wore all my gear from pants,jeresy,headband,gloves I had my pack on and would have brought the gun but I dont think people would have liked that very much.

Well Splat Tag may try and do something with Greg again this year but I am not sure. I need to see how business is in April and May.

Having Greg come in last year was great but there was a cost to do that.

On a different date Im thinking of having a woodball clinic with some big name players.

WPD is for fields to have a new event to promote paintball, I would prefer that it was on a date where I did not already have an event.

i have been talking to greg and he is intrested in comeing out. he might even just popo in on a big weekend! probly not thou he is real bussy.recon:)

Yeah I did too, I talked to him down at OK DDay and then found out that he was at Splat tag the weekend after dday.

I had a family reuinon we just couldn't get out of we had planned it for 3 months
