Look for input from players!

DATE for the Splat Tag "Resident Evil" GBG in the Fall.

The Fall GBG has never had a set DATE. We more it around every year.

Some say it should be before school is back in other say it should be later in the year.

Looking for input? What DATE do you think it should be??

Well what has been your most sucessful turn out as of date wise. With school starting in the September area. I did enjoy the August Giant Game but I mean with the weather being cooler later in the year, maybe it would be neat to try in early October? With everyone wanting to get there last kick in before the snow comes. That might bring some people in.

Either
August 23rd
or
October 4th
I'd like to see how an october game would work out

I was thinking maybe the 16th of Aug. That would be earlier in the month, and you would still have the college kids in town before they go back off to school. Kind of one last paintball hurah before headin back to the books ><

I would have to say that August may create heat exhaustion issues again. I think that either very late August or September.

August 23rd would be nice for the high school kids, before school starts.

One that doesnt conflict with any other fields' schedule's. Combat paintball has their big DDay on the 16th and frederic has a 3 man on the 23rd. It just nice when fields that schedule events late dont overlap with other fields' schedules.

It is always a good idea to keep the date a way from other scenario events but tournaments are not a concern.

It can be almost imposable to not pick a date that some field has an event in the MN and WI area.

The are only around 26 weekend in the Paintball season.

Thats why Splat Tag put its EVENT List out back in Nov. 2008.

And the same reason we are asking for help picking at date for this event.

August 16 is out. Thanks for the heads up on that date.

last week end of sept because they have been in school for a lil bit. past the hecktic first week.

maybe a little way for the children to cut loose who are still in school? Relax a little cause the first week is usually kind of stressful.

not august 22nd or 23rd, and not Sept 12th and 13th, or october 3rd and 4th

I am up for any weekends other then those, as I know I can't make those dates... course knowing my luck those will be the best ones for everyone else, lol

Picking dates for events is tough. Especially when Splat Tag has over 100 Events a year.

Resident Evil GBG

August 22 or Sept 19??

What do you think would be better and why??

I think September 19th would be better. Hopefully it will be a little cooler, and it will be a few weeks after everyone goes back to school so hopefully people will want to get out and play.

This date doesnt really matter to me, I will attend regardless.

However sometime after the August heat would make most sense to me!

I'm inclined to agree, heat should be down a bit (hopefully). Plus, I know after going through the first few weeks of school ain't nothing like a good game to unwind on a weekend.

Put me down for Sept. 19th, I likes to see the GBG's spread out abit. Temps. don't matter to me much and I don't go to school anymore, and its sounds like a good date for a GBG.;)/AKA

Sept. 19th sounds good. I played at the BSV and that heat was enough to stop me in my tracks by the last hour and a half before the end
