Jungle Rumble Scenario Game - Last Sunday of every month (March-Oct) www.junglerumble.com (http://www.junglerumble.com/) at Splat Tag, Inc. in Hudson, WI.
"Red Dawn" Sunday, March 29 from 10am to 5pm.
150+ players.
Splat Tag will be combining fields to make 2 Big Fields for this Scenario Game.
Gate Open at 9am for check-in and first game starts around 10am+/-. We will be playing a bunch of 1 hour games. Missions will wrap up around 5:00pm
Prizes will include a Tippmann Gun and other great prizes. Prizes given out at the end of the day around 5:30pm.
Entry is $25 and includes C02 and HP Air refills up to 4500psi.
First 200 players receive a game patch "Red Dawn"
Paintballs from Kee Action Sports will be for sale at the game $15/500 and $50/2000.

Patches are being ordered today. First 200 players will receive a free patch.
Map based on what has happen 25 years after movie Red Dawn left off, at the start of World War III
Blue = US and allies (United Kingdom, China "600 million screaming Chinamen", presumably Unoccupied Canada)
Green = Neutral (Europe, "they're sitting this one out")
Red = USSR and allies (showing USSR invasion of Alaska, Occupied Canadian Provinces of British Columbia, Western portion of Alberta and the Yukon Territory, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala fall, Mexico in revolution, Texas ,Oklahoma Kansas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa up through Minnesota - invasion force stopped at Hudson, Wisconsin.
Grey = Unknown
Yellow squares = use of Soviet nuclear weapons - Beijing, Washington, Kansas City & Omaha

We can cut a hole in the top of my lincoln, build a turret, man it with 4 guys and call it a tank. i think it needs a sun roof anyway. tongue:)
I do not think the Splat Tag TANK will be ready. Players are welcome to bring your own TANK. Nothing bigger then a golf cart.

This is Red Dawn 25 years later.
The fighting has gone on for quite some time. Ammo seems to be low for both sides. However, there is reports that an ammo drop landed off-target in the middle of the Wisconsin forest. Intel shows that not only was there additional rifle ammo, but a conventional tactical explosive charge meant to destroy the Wolverines bivouac. The Russians, however, are holding a special meeting of their top brass back at their base while this is going on. Therefore, should the Wolverines find the ammo drop, they could use the charge to detonate at the Russian meeting, thus taking out key leaders in one shot.
Object of the game: find the ammo drop and bring the charge to the opposing base.
Rules of the game: No player is allowed to bring more then two 140 round pods. Hoppers empty for ref check on to the field. Pods are only for filling your own hopper. Pods can not be given to another players and can not be filled up again. You can share all the paint you want from hopper to hopper. At the drop zone, there will be a provided supply of paint (1 case for every 40 players on one team). You can fill your hoppers again, but you can't take the bags with you or fill pods. A ref would be on-hand to watch for this. At reinsertions, you can refill your hoppers, but not take extra pods.
Two games will be based on Badgers scenario layout. The first game will be a one hour game with 15 reinsertions. Each player on both teams can go on the field with two 140 round pods. Hoppers/guns must be empty. This is to help control paintball totals and give all players an even amount of paint if they want.
Once we see how the first game plays out we will adjust the game time for the second game. May shorten it a little.
Scenario for the next few games will be given out one game day.
No paint limits on the rest of the games.
Remember Full-auto is allowed!
All Electronic paintball guns must be capped at no more then 12bps no matter how the guns is shooting, semi, ramp or full-auto.
ALL paintball gun, except Pumps guns, must be crono'd under 280fps.
Pump guns most be under 300fps.

A lot of players are going to have gun and paint problems.
Everyone must keep your paint warm. Keep your guns and paint in your warmed up cars in between games.

Sounds like a great scenario for the pump guns! Can the paint rule be adjusted to have either 2-140 rd pods OR 3-100rd pods? Thats pretty much the same amount.

I was just told by the new patch company that the patches will not be here on time! :mad: I ordered them a month ago.
If you want a patch I will have envelopes at the fields, you address them and I will pay postage and mail them out when they come in.
The good news is I ordered the April Tour of Duty patches with this order so they should be here on time :rolleyes:

One more day!
The food lady will not be out at the field Sunday.
We will still have a free hot dog and soda for everyone but not to much more.
Water is still not turn on either so bring food, snacks, water and/or something to drink. Even if you will not get hungry still bring it because I will be. :)

I completely drained the battery on one of Darrin's HD cameras taking video of the games at the D-Day and Urban fields, and got some good stuff during the Ironman, too.
Almost all of it is short little clips, so it will probably take some editing to make a watchable video.
mayhem was videotaping damn near the whole day im intrested inseeing what they got :)

Yeah the only game we didn't record was the first actual game.
My teammate Peter and I viewed most of it on the tv when we got home. We got paint spray on the lense for two outings and then on the last outing Pete accidently touched the lense and smudged it.
Im going to tear the footage apart tonight and see if I can add it to the intro.
Idk it didn't look good. I am really picky about the footage we allow in. We got rid of the shaky problem and then all the lense **** had to happen.
Pete and Ill will start editing and Ill post what we have as soon as I can.
Darrin I got that rush up the hill on footage. That was probably one of the coolest things I have seen out at Splat Tag. I wish I was playing though:mad:

Lot of fun, good to be back at Splat Tag again after a long winter. It's too bad I may have to wait until Tour of Duty to come again... April is unnecessarily busy for me work-wise :(

If I happened to get some good footage of you guys in my vids I'll let you know (if you want it), I had some technical difficulties last night so I'll be looking at it tonight.
Also you bring up a great point with the 12 bps cap, I agree I have really enjoyed it. I will admit I was completely wrong with what I thought it would do to the game, myself I've got my ego capped at 10bps. Although I think I pulled 8bps at most throughout the day. Great move on the cap for Splat Tag!

Actually I have some of you guys during the second bomb game, right at the beginning (took the game off for some video). I know I at least have a bunch of your guys running up the middle path right at me, looks pretty cool (my opinion) the good stuff will make my lil cutup project so you'll be able to see it lol.
I may have got to shoot a lot of people this game but most of it was near my starting base. A ton of good players all over the field!
The games seem to go back and forth all the time. One minute my team controlling the field about to win and next minute we are digging in at our base.
And the two "1 hour games with limited paint" seem ever one had a case of paintballs to shoot at me :scared0012:
12bps is still fast and it seem like there was just as much paint coming at me as last year and at the same speed. 12bps is not big deal. Plus I think it help team Mayhem be able to play 5 minutes longer. ;)

Well about the Game, it was a Great time, although in one Game I had to sit in the DeadBox for a half hour, but atleast I got to enjoy Spock and his counter parts shoot up the backs of my Team that did'nt even see them coming.pg:):D
And then of course my having to walk out to my car from back by the lake, Damn near killed me.old:)
Other than that, the number of players that showed for a Great Day and a Great Game, made it all worth it.;)/AKA

Just finished watching everything I got, looks like I should have some good stuff to make a youtube vid with.
I have most of the 2nd bomb game on vid, it has an awesome break from the red team, and a few nice lil gunfights!
The Urban game I have mostly wide shots of the whole field, you can see whats going on but its lacking on intensity.
The Ironman game... well I seemed to have been lucky enough to point my camera in most of the right places, especially right at the end I got the brave souls who charged right up to the orange team reinsert base. And Sarge I did get your run up the middle, and your thumbs up lol.
Never made a vid before so I'll try to make the learning curve short so you guys get something nice. Darrin I'll make sure you get full copies next time I'm out at the field.

I was one of those running up right at the end lol.
Honestly though, that whole day was the most fun I've had playing paintball easily in the last 2-3 seasons.
Great day of paintball for sure. Got to meet a lot of cool folks, and had a lot of great games.

Yesterday was epic, I had a great time. The only thing that sucked was that my paint started blowing apart in my barrel as it quickly warmed up, i think i spent more time cleaning yesterday than i did all month.
I look forward to a whole new year of fun, and Im excited to see what D will be doing with the new courses.

I especially like how I happened to be kinda in the way of one of your guys, and he was kind enough to not run me over :D looks good on the vid to I think.
And Sarge that intro is from March 7th, lol I thought that lil clip was to funny to pass up on.
Got some ideas bouncing round in my head, wish I could finish up a vid tonight, but I do have work... I'll be thinkin about this all tomorrow and workin on it as soon as I get off work. Really excited, hope you guys like what the end result is when you see it! I can't wait drool:)

omg i couldnt even walk this morning. It was really fun tho.
Good job on the video taping guys i cant wait to see some of the stuff. I did bring a camera out,my friend got a few pictures of the urban and iron man game, and a shaky little video with darrin in it during the iron man game. I was in the last rush of the iron man game so finally it sounds like i will be in a video haha
Hey mayhem guys your new jerseys are pretty sick btw. It was gun playin against you guys all day it seemed like every way i went i would be up against you guys haha.

We were only missing two players for that event. My teammates mom had to go to the hospital Saturday night and the other had/has the flu. But its the first time for that many of us at a Jungle Rumble Game. We have never officially had the whole team out for one event we are always missing 2-5 guys.
We did bring out 3 new players out to Splat for the first time. I know they had a fun time and are going to continue to come out to the field. I'm trying to get my old highschool hockey buddies who used to play paintball out to Splat and see if we can get more people addicted to it as much as all of us.

Gimme a couple days, I'm suffering a bit of a creative crisis with how to correctly put it all together. Don't want to have y'all watching the boring parts.
I think I've learned a few things from this footage too, on how I can make sure more of the footage is fun to watch.
But yea, couple days I'll have something out. Trying to be picky, want it to be something y'all want to look at a few times.

Just finished Hacking and Slashing my footage of the bomb game together. Good chance I'm gonna redo some stuff with it, let me know what y'all think.

First game of the day for me to record, was the third game of the day (I think), and was the second game played where the teams had to find the bomb then deliver it to the other teams base. Luckily I overheard Orange teams plan to do a big push right up the middle, and layed down in the main path! I cut out most of the boring/really shaky footage I had. Sadly I missed the end of the game (happened about 2 or 3 minutes after camera shut off) because my battery was almost dead. Let me know what y'all think.

This is the Urban Game, in all its uncut glory. That said expect to have to skip over the first minute or so, unless you enjoy watching everyone stand around before the game :rolleyes:. Its all shot pretty wide, I tried to capture the whole field or as much as possible. Dunno if you guys like it, I myself enjoy being able to watch the multiple firefights at once. Again, let me know what you guys think, and what you want more of.

But the face plant is one of my signature moves... ask Mustang Man, Brutis, Delta, or anyone that's seen me do it. Tire tracks and welts that result from said faceplants are just icing on the cake...laughing:)

yeah DE, still laugh everytime I think about that one. would have been nice to have some of you guys down for the Frostbuster again this year we had right at 80 people this year.
