Any of you guys been to the North Branch Range?

I usually head over to Bill's in Circle Pines.

If I need a longer range, I go with my father or grandfather to River Falls in Wisconsin. It's a club that needs a club member to enter, and they're both members.

I like Bill's when it's not that busy because it's close and because of the brass -- I collect brass to reload. Saves money in the long run, and it's easy to collect my brass as well as others (within reason).

I live in RF. We do have a nice pistol/rifle range. Our PD uses it as well.

You would have not enjoyed it this LAST weekend... UGH!

A whole load of Navy Sea Cadets (The Navy's Cub Scouts) were there stinking up the place.

I set my jacket on a chair in the "lounge area" only to return back from the range with it stuffed under a table... grrrrr.

Getting closer!

Just finished my upper for my AR; half milled 20" bull barrel. I had it built custom by a local armorer. I'm pretty pumped about finishing this build, now.
