Do you go to any ranges?

I go quite a bit lately. This is kind of an old pic (missing the bull barrel and Volquartsen trigger assembly) of my latest creation:

That's the primary range I head to.

EDIT: So, I may as well post a photo too (although I've had this one since last spring):

Traced the serial number to January 1944 production.

I want that gun. I love all WWII weapons. I'd love to get my hands on an old german machine gun (or submachine).

M1?

Wow! That date could easily place that weapon's production for the D-Day build-up. That's pretty cool... any sand in the breech? haha!

Maybe we should set up a "MN Scenario Guide" Range Day?

No evidence of sand in my Garand. Looking at the condition, I know it went to the European front because it's just too good of condition to have been in the Pacific - the constant harsh conditions in the Pacific were murder to firearms.

I'd be all for a range day. I'll bring the M1 and the ultimate in counter-zombie warfare:

12 gauge - the drum holds 20 rounds.

Yep... Ruger 10/22.

Just had it at Bill's today, actually. I am VERY happy with my inch and a half groupings too. :)

I may even forgo the .920 Bull Barrel and finally build up my AR.

This post is getting jacked big time; maybe we should just make a firearms thread... haha!
