Anyone know where I can find the best deal on one locally? Coming back to paintball and looking at the scenario side this time. Thanks

Glad to hear that your coming back to Paintball. I know we're all having a great time on the Scenario/Woodsball side. The TM-7 is a good choice to come back with, I shot MondoMor's and I've been looking at ways to have one myself. I know he got his at CC Military for a great deal, but other players here may stear you in the right direction. Good luck and welcome back./AKA

As much as I like to buy things locally, I didn't get my TM-7 from CC. CC does carry them, but I'm not sure what they're charging.

Isn't the standard rate like 400.00?

Well that can't be right... the first TM-7 I saw was at C&C.

Rotter showed it to me.

$400 seems to be the going rate for TM-7s.

There's a used one on MCB going for $360 (http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/misc-paintball-items/61114-gotta-sell-tm7-etek-jt-flex-8-mask-camo.html).

I fell in love with the TM-7 on display at CC, but wasn't ready to pay what they cost... until by dumb luck I stumbled on one for $350.

When did BT release the double trigger for it?

I'm not interested in picking one up -- just curious because I missed that piece of paintball news.

It's been out for a while.

FYI Firstcall paintball on eBay is letting 10" Apex-tipped barrels go for $30, if you use the 'Or Best Offer' on their Buy It Now auctions. They look nice on the TM-7.

Latest news on the BT forums about the TM-7-specific Rip Clip is that it's delayed 'til mid-2009. There's a couple of people selling adapters to use the BT-4 Rip Clip, but the TM-7 is sometimes too quiet for the BT-4 Rip Clip's sound activation. Maybe the TM-7 will have to use RF activation.

Did you guys already know about the Trinity Aluminum Locking Feedneck? (http://www.trinitypaintball.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=TR+492)
$40's a bit harsh.

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you put a double trigger on a paintball marker?

With a scenario style gun a single trigger is much better. You can still get 8-12 bps but it looks better and I personally like a single trigger more. It just feels right, walking a trigger just feels wrong to me.

Jude Pido(Better known as Kylester 925) bought a tm 7 and swares by it, I know he has a X7,sp1,heck every new gun that comes out.LOL. anyways ,I helped him Video tape a review video at bunker busters home field in October and I was impressed. I need to work on holding the camera steady, lol

I'm also more a fan of single triggers in general. It's just a personal preference, and I find them more comfortable to use for some reason.

The TM7 specific rip clip is an upcoming product, though you can find improvised adapters on the internet to connect existing rip clips to the TM7. IMO, the improvised rip clip sticks way too far out of the TM7 and looks uglier than having a nice loader on it as it was intended.

I've been mostly happy with my TM-7 this year - it's only let me down once. The version 1.00 boards have a weak power button, which broke at the June Jungle Rumble. But it was replaced under warranty.

The only major problem is that the gun doesn't have a BPS cap in semi-auto mode. Until now!

The version 2.0 board apparently does cap in semi, and also has a lower range of caps (down to 8.5bps I think).

The only trouble is actually getting ahold of one. Paintball Solutions can't sell them and won't issue one as a warranty replacement. BT doesn't have them on their website, and none of the other TM-7 retailers seem to sell them yet.
