I just thought I would see what kind of paint people use in the winter and what they think of it. I used the DXS frostbite yesterday (temp was 15*:character0080:) and was very happy with it. The paint never dimpled and flew strait. I didn't have a single break in my guns (Phantom, Mini) and they seemed to break well on impact. The only thing I would change about them would be a brighter shell the green seems a little to dark in the woods. Has anyone used the RPS polar ice, if so what did you think and how did it shoot? Does anyone have a good hard shell paint that the use instead of winter paint, the problem I always run into is they dimple after a few hours.

How did the Mini like the cold? I've heard they don't usually like to run when it's cold.

Mine doesn't work in the cold at all. I'd be walking the trigger really fast and it shoot like once for every one of my 5 trigger pulls. They weren't built with the cold in mind, so don't expect them to.

the bolt was sticking forward on the first game so i re-greased it and it ran great the rest of the day. if my brother (slick assassin) reads this he could answer more Q's, he ran his all last winter and I think the only problem he had was paint related not gun.

Hmmm, that could be. I know my hopper wasn't working too well either. But I've seen most minis not work too well in the cold or rain.

as for the paint...polar ice works well, so does Ramp winter mix.

empire blizz worked well for me i also used wpn elixer wich to my suprize worke amazing. i didnt break a ball all day. poler ice has worked well for me in the past as well.:character00118:
