I had an Idea for a Winter Scenario. "DIE HARD"
We need to find someone with a Old Warehouse, appartment building, school, or commercial bussiness building that is set up for demo or remodel. have a big indoor Scenario. this should nave an awesome turnout being in the dead of winter. Lets throw some ideas around..

In my experience with indoor, paint and concrete floors= injuries. The building would need to have carpet. I really like the idea though, A little Rainbow 6 action would be very cool. dribble:)

OK I live in Kenyon, we have an old high school building that has been boarded up for years, from what I understand there is asbestos in there which is why its not been demoed, don’t know if there is anything that could be done with this? just thought I would bring it up. I have always said it would be a cool place for an indoor paintball Scenario.

Be careful if you pursue the boarded up Kenyon school. If anyone from the outside reports activity inside, you guys would soon be up against Kenyon police or county sheriffs. Get permission first, and good luck doing that. I'm assuming whoever has property rights to that place wouldn't want the insurance/lawsuit risk of letting people play inside there.

Jackalwb is right too, with the slippery floor aspect. Years back we got invited to help the SWAT team out of Northfield do some terrorist training at an old hospital. While it WAS a blast doing that, we had to be extra careful with paint splatters on the smooth floors for slipping accidents. After their training was over, we played some games with them, and very quickly the slick stairwells became extremely dangerous.

Just my two cents on that... beret:)

Make it a charity event and have the local police come and remove us(pre arranged with a two day window) as the scenario,Giving them markers that is. they have to wait for the call from a citizen to pursue us. so if no one calls it in ,we play all day, LOL . All proceeds go to the new school or community. just an idea

Well, yes, if you can involve the local authorities, you could make it a training exercise for the cops. You would have to involve the land/building owner, as well as the police, and create a training exercise for them. They may be up for that.

Again, we had such a blast doing that for the Northfield cops/SWAT a couple years back.

I just saw the other day that Kason Minnesota's middle school windows are all boarded up. Maybe I should make a few calls.

You mean the building behind erdmans in kasson? Its filled with asbestos, and is tied up in court. They are trying to decide whether to destroy it or preserve it, so we can't really touch it. I know police use to do training in it though.......

Kasson is Dodge county. I don't think they would let us go and mess around in there though because it is filled with asbestos and might be preserved as a historical landmark. You can call them anyway though, just to make sure. I would love to painball indoor, that would be a blast in the winter. :)

If you played with Rufus Dawg practice balls and dialed your markers down to about 200, you would not only NOT cause a gooey mess in there, but also not hurt each other with 280-300 fps welts. You would just have to make a concerted effort to go find them all when the day is done. beret:)

I clean out Hud forecloser homes for a living and I have one house in kasson,mn I maintain, Mow the lawns, clear sidwalks when it snows and so on. Getting to my point,, The Kasson House had a broken window and some homeless person was living in it. I called Kasson Police to search the house(Proceedure). We secured the house and I asked the Officer for his Card. felt it would'nt be cool to mention using the school for a paintball event,But i have a contact now.I will call him at a later time. Plus my co- captian (Chris Harris) grew up in Kasson and went to that school, he's knows it like the back of his hand. lol

I know the building really well too. I used to have basketball and karate practice in it. I dunno about any secret passages though..... it would be awesome if there were some. :D
