Why is it that most pick up games and big games seem to be on Sunday?

Because Darrin reserves Saturdays for private groups.

Most paintball companies make most of our income from private groups and 99% of private groups only want to play Saturday.

For the last year I have moved the Giant Big Games to Saturdays because people have been saying since day one that more players would come if big games were held on a Saturday.
Well I know know it is not true. I see no real deference in attendance having a big game on a Saturday instead of a Sunday.

I think it would be good for paintball fields that do not do a lot of private groups to have big games on a Saturday.

For me it is a lot easier running private groups then a month end Jungle Rumble and I make more from the private groups.

That's why a lot of field don't even have big events.

Well I for one am very glad and appreciative to Darrin for holding these games on Sundays, as I have to work every Saturday, and would not be able to play at all with out the Sunday games. I haven’t been able to make one giant big game yet. I am sure I am not the only one in this situation, so my hat off to you Darrin for putting these end of month events on, and a big thank you.

I'm also glad for Sunday games, even if I have had to work half the Sundays this year. In the older days, I couldn't make Saturday games because I worked both overnights (friday/saturday, then saturday/sunday) around them. Sunday was the only day I could make it.

In short, Splat Tag's Sunday games are why I was able to stay with the sport then. :)

And yeah, I'm glad I'm done with third shift work. Even being done with those days, I'm usually better able to make a Sunday game.
