I was just thinking its starting to get toward the end of the paintball season, fields are going to be shutting down in a few months the temp will drop and the snow will start to fall. Is there anyone else out there who doesnt pack up their guns and quit for the winter? in fact I think I played as much if not more last winter then I did this summer. :character0080::character0080::character0080:

I head to Air Assault for indoor paintball during the winter.
On a related thought, and this is or those of you who do pack up the gear for the winter -- why? Is it the cost of an indoor field, the lack of a location near you, the focus on "tournament style" (ie airball geometric shape bunkers), or something else entirely?

As much as I like the idea of busting out the Polar Ice and running through the snow, there are indoor fields in the cities.
Has anyone been to SplatBall Inc? Its only 5mi from my place, that may become my winter field if I cannot find a better one.

Splatball has a cement floor, which becomes pretty slippery when enough paint has been thrown.
I don't recommend it unless this has changed, as this is a safety hazard.

If you get a year pass the paint is only 55 a case. I've never played there but I'm going to look into it because I don't want to go a winter with out paintball like last year!

i played there a bit last winter... all i have to say is buy some broomball shoes or your going to be spending sometime on your ***... the floor is super slippery... the paint is way overpriced... the field is pretty small by most indoor standards & its kind of dark down there... the only thing they really have going for them is a super cool staff & decent proshop
my buddy just moved to maple lake so i bet i'll e playing a bit @ AA this winter
