so last sat i went to the poler bear in Baldwin. aces high fielded 3 teams. we all did good, but me rotter and Adam (dirt tan) took first in nov c. that in its own right is sweet. then Sunday i was talked into leaving and not playing the next 2 formats. so we went to treasure island for the corvette drawing. i won the scratchy for 100$ and the chance to pull a key out of a tumbler. i went their with 15$ and 8 cases of paint in the hole at 65$ a case. so sweet i had a chance at a car and money to gamble. turns out i was number 19 in line for the chance at the car. so i was gambling with my 100$ waiting for the drawing to begin. i came up another 135$ on slots. sweet good day right? well 5 O'Clock hit I'm in line for the car. the 18 people in front of me failed, I'm at the tumbler; their was a pile of 3 keys on the right and one lonely key on the left. so i grabbed the lonely one hoping it would be nice to me for picking it. went to the machine and blammo the key turned the lights turned on and omg. i won a 08 corvette z06. an awesome weekend full of win.

Too bad it was Treasure Island Casino and not Grand Casino-Hinckley. You could have done a "and that's my Grand Casino story" commercial. beret:)

I had heard rumors of this. So I see them to be true! You'll have to grow your hair out now so it will blow in the wind. Keep the shiny side up and Congratulations on your "you don't win unless you play," "VET"./AKA

the van only got to 100MPH then it felt like it would blow apart so i slowed down and it was allot more than 5 sec to 100. the ride might be possible sage. and the grand story would have been sweet. and i did some math on it and it would cost me to keep it approximately $16,490 vs selling it and walking away with around $35000 after all the taxes. either way i thing I'm going to buy a new gun. thinking the venom series ego then maby a sweet anno of his tongue down the barrel.

Dude this thread would totally deliver if you posted a want ad on Craigslist for models to pose with the Vette and you post pics. Offer them a free day of paintball (ladies play free right now right?).

ya i can see a funney thing happens when you drive past girls they all turn and look. it actually take remakeible little effort.:D
Brutis

And you're going to sell it Nate?
Why??????
'Cause you can't cover the taxes?
There's ways around that stuff.
Time for some advice from Brutis...
You will never, in the rest of your life, own a Corvette.
The cash you glean from it's sale will not last as long as you think it will.
Selling that car is something you will regret for the rest of your life.
Think about this.

their is no way im driveing a car with4 inch ground clearence down the splat tag road. and brutis your right but as D said their isnt a damn thing about this car i can afford. for real lets put this in perspective. im a paintball ref working 3 maby 4 days a week, makeing 8$ an hour. i can put a very nice down payment down on a house. in a buyers market. and still have like 15 grand left after downpayment and taxes. i think me buying a house is a smarter idea. thou turning heads is a hell of alot of fun.

Second job M-F would cover that extra money.
Don't sell it, you're probably the only paintball ref in the nation with one.

I would have to agree with you on buying a house! They are a much better investment then a car. It does suck letting the cars go though, I'm in the proses of selling my WRX so I can be sitting better financially. Its not that you cant afford them, its that you cant afford much else when you have them.

I'd say sell it. That's a heap of $ you'll have for a while, and the Venom Ego would be sweet too:D
And a house is always a good thing to have too...
All in all, take some pics and video of it then let her go...and you also know your probably screwed on luck for the rest of your life right?:)

look for another gig as well as refing. the cash from selling the car might get you into a house but the $8 an hour wont let you keep the house.
get a loan keep the car..any bank will loan you 17,000 for a 60,000 car
in case you cant make the payments they get it.. just make the payments..
