This is going to be a good time, Jeff never disappoint in a a good scenario. We have played in numerous of his mini scenario's and had nothing but a blast playing. I have no doubt in my mind that this is a very well thought out, intensely exiting game he has planned for us.

I have been to a lot of different scenarios and after seeing what Jeff has put into this one I can guarantee this is going to be a good time. It is very well planned out and has lots of different objectives and side missions. It will be a very in depth game, and will depend a lot on the commanders of both sides. The field is also a very fun woodsball area that will work great with this scenario. So come out to Watertown and play with us, its sure to be a good time!

This field up in Watertown is a good field. It has few place where people can "camp." And as everyone knows, when everyone is moving around it is a lot more fun. Also, I spent a lot of time at Darkside, which Jeff owns, when he was planning Fallout. And, not to beat a dead horse, but this scenario is going to be one of the best that Jeff has ever planned. And he has had some good scenarios.

ther will be time between each mission and each mission has different time limits and respawn times, except for the sniper, the sniper can stay on field, but cant move other the mutants will find him

yeah it says on the website that it's field paint only. "event paint" is the exact wording if you want to know or care. DON'T FORGET TO PRINT OUT THE WAIVERS ON THE WEBSITE LINK THAT IS SET UP AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE!

i'm sure they have them there but it will make life easier for everyone.

well that was a ton of fun... it was really hot but it was an all around good time even when we were struggling. The game required thinking beyond that of a normal scenario w/ having to gather resources and such, it made for a complex will thought out game that really put your commanders to the test. The game play also moved very fast there wasnt a lot of waiting in between games which was great. I encourage everyone to hit up at least one of jeffs scenario's in the future.

So it's the day after this event and I'm still feeling the pain, and that's definitely a good thing. Seriously guys, we played for 8 straight hours and I gotta say that was the most fun I've had paintballing in a long time.

First of all, the field is just fun to play on - really a woodsballer's dream. Not so much vegitation that you couldn't move but enough so that a sniper will have hayday if they know what they're doing.

Jeff knows how to set up scenarios that flow nicely and which give players missions that make some sense. I think there were some communications difficulties at the start between the refs and Jeff (resulting in a few late starts and some misunderstandings on the game mechanics), but those seemed to get sorted out later on. I know Jeff had been planning this event since the beginning of the year, and it showed. Artifacts seemed to be placed fairly throughout the field (thanks refs) and were easily identifiable for what they were...satchel charges were set with real timers and he even had a "bomb" that required you to input the correct code in order to disarm it (or was it to arm? I guess our team never got to that objective...). Finally, the staff that helped Jeff (refs and the dude that was selling paint..sorry can't remember the name) were extremely friendly and helpful, and seemed to actually enjoy watching the teams shoot each other up.

I will be attending future events at this field, and I think everybody else should give it a shot. It's worth the drive.

To second Mr. Toast.... it's now Thursday and I'm finally able to walk normal again. These Darkside Scenario events are ball-busters. (This is a pun on way too many levels:) But it was one of the most thought out scenarios I've been to. The level of direction in the play the commanders had was unprecidented. There wasn't anyone perfect way to complete a mission, it really led you to use both your imagination and leadership skills, react to different circumstances, make a decision quickly, and then get the heck out of dodge when the mutants came. The resources and money that you gained in mission became fun to use to destroy the other team's base, protect your own, and buy things like satchel charges to blow stuff up, and sattilites to help you find resources, artifacts, and mission objectives. That turned out to really turn the tide of the game. Also, I haven't found a scenario device yet that Jeff will not let you use. If we would have remembered our Pzooka that may have helped quite a bit. About the only thing I have to say that proved a problem for this was that the field was a bit big for both teams to cover. But all in all it was a fantastic event I would love to do again.

ya i would have to agree with noobs and the captain. this game relyed heavly on both the commander and the grunts decision making skills. i really liked the whole white board thing we did during our team briefings too. with how much was goin on, it deffinitly helped. And oh man, dont get me started on how elaberate the storyline and props were. i would say that i never thought anyone could have that much fun designing and running a scenerio than jeff did. it was crazy to see how many props he had. i mean, this stuff was crazy. they had satchel charges that had a real timer, a big bomb that you had to enter the code into. there was so much stuff going on, that jeff had to crame it all into a packet and hand it out to the commanders. there were lists of things to buy, maps of the whole field, which was set up very well by the way, and loads of different objectives. the refs were diffently on top of things too. it always seemed as though they were there right when u got hit to give u a paint check. and they never seemed to get in the way. all and all the scenerio was awesome, the field was awesome and jeff.. u the man.
