First a bit of back story,
I was getting my gear ready, yesterday since I have stuff going on tonight, and I tripped over some stuff, and dropped one of my tanks in the process. I think I bent the gauge on it a bit.
Now since I am not an airsmith, and have no idea how these things work,
a) Is this going to effect the way the tank works / provide some sort of saftey concern?
b) Where do I need to take this to have it looked at / fixed?
Any help is greatly appreciated too.
Thanks.

Unless you've bent the nipple on the back of the gage, it will not effect performance. If you bent the nipple on the of the gage (the part that goes into the regulator) you could have air leaks and possible a missle (projectile) sitiuation with the gage (HOWEVER this is extremely unlikely). If you have air in the tank now (or before) you will have noticed an air leak. Now that you've dropped your tank on the gage. Your gage might be damaged inside where the gage wont read the correct pressure inside the tank. Now as to fix it once the air is completely removed from the tank. Remove the gage and install a new one. Thats it. (Well of course you'll need to get a new gage). While I dont have anymore instock I (as well as just about any dealer) can get you a new gage.

I would have somebody look at it for sure. Most people are way to casual with the compressed air tanks. High pressure gas and tanks are no joke. they can really cause serious injury if not used properly. Have a trained person look at the gage and get the thing hydro tested when it needs it.

Its the actual guage that shows how much air pressure is in the tank that got bent a bit. The tank was empty to begin with, so there is no air in it.
Where would I take it to get some one to look at it? I am trying to avoid a situation where some one could potentially get hurt.
Thankfully, I have another tank I can use in the mean time. while I get this sorted out.

I have 5 hpa tanks lol. 3 steal 48/3000 (out of hydro) the 68/4500 that you saw on my mini and my 110/4500 with the bent gauge.
Apparently CC has an Air Smith that works for them??? If thats the case I will have to find time to take it in and have him look at it.

Depends on which rig I am running for the day. Most I personally have done is 6 cases with the DT. (if I had more paint that day, or more cash, I probably would have shot more)
The fewest is 200 rounds with the SS.
