I picked one of these up while I was at OK D-Day. Im impressed with it. Simple design but it works! No air needed, just the strength to pull the string back to shoot.
They had a three man airball tourament at D-Day with these bows; it was hilarious to watch.
I cant wait to test it this weekend. Pretty quiet, but large profile, definetly a niche item, but cool none the less dribble:)
The first video is the demo video of it in action.

Any chance on using this being allowed for pump games? The bolt needs to be worked back to load one ball at a time.

I talked to Stapes at World Paintball Day, he doesn't think there'll be a problem with them for pump games.
I'm pretty sure they'll be OK for Northside pump games.

What does it use for a feed? Like a 10 round tube?? I am curious, I would love to see one up close and personal.

It comes with a stick feed type (think like a phantom, but angled downward to allow gravity to feed it).
However, the connection on the receiver allows for a standard hopper elbow to be attached, so you can put any hopper you want on it as well.

ah thats neat, but it still works like a pump though, right, where you have to draw back to shoot one shot?

There's two motions you must accomplish to fire a shot:
1. chamber a round (pulling a knob to manually move the bolt back to allow a paintball to fall into the breech, then releasing the knob to let the bolt close and chamber the ball)
2. pull back on the string like you would for an arrow, then release to fire
One thing I will say -- it really is the quietest marker I've ever seen (or heard).

I got one at the same time as Shaman, I'll bring it along to Serenity so you can see it then (I probably won't use it for BSV though)

You going to the Jungle Rumble on the 29th? Might be a better time to show it to me.

No question about it, it would be fine to use on either the Splat Tag monthly pump game or the Wednesday night North Side pump games.
I played with one of those back in November down in TX. Only time I had the chance to walk the field with it was nightplay and did not have the chance to fire at anyone.
What velocity have you been able to get? The demo unit I played with maxed out around 230.

I'm working that day until 1pm, I might be able to make it, but it won't be until at least 2, and more like 2:30. If I make it, I'll bring it along and look for you.
Gumby, I haven't gotten the chance to chrono mine yet, never had the opportunity to use it for a game since I got it.

I wasn't allowed to tear the one I had apart otherwise I may have some suggestions on to improving the velocity. I noticed that the paint I was using was small for the barrel so that could have been why my velocity was low. Was consistent within only a couple of fps between shots.
