Ben Tippmann is finally releasing an electropneumatic, and it's pretty nice for a mil sim too.

TM-7 (http://www.btpaintball.com/tm_7.php)

Mini™ Technology Inside
Shift-On-The-Fly, 4-Position Mode Switch
Multiple, Extensive Firing Modes Including Semi/Burst/Full-Auto
Multiple Picatinny Rails Allow For Extra Accessories
Adjustable, Multi-Position Stock
Collapsible/Adjustable Front Grip
Low Pressure Operation
No External Hoses; Internal Airline Operation
Additional Modes: NPPL/PSP/NXL/Millennium

Looks like it's basically a milsim mini.

What do you guys think? I'm kind of surprised -- Ben Tippmann has always been a blowback company in the past. This is something other companies (ie - Tippmann) could learn from.

I'm going to be asking the BT reps at OK D-Day about that. It's going to be soon, as I have heard that one of these will be at the BT booth there and the rep may be taking orders there as well.

I do have some questions form the rep that need a little answering (BT blowbacks,in fact nearly every blowback now, have a history of being made in China -- I want to be sure that BT is moving away from this practice with their TM-7 before I even think about investing my dollars that direction).

EDIT: I really like that the PSP mode is added in there. If you want to go to an event that allows ramping but doesn't allow pure, true full-auto, PSP mode would really be the only way I can see getting 15 BPS off this with the single trigger (but I like the looks of the single trigger, and I rarely shoot that much paint that fast as it is). This gives you the chance to "keep up" without sacrificing other factors.

Purist Milsimers Rejoice!
BT seems to have done a fairly decent representation of the HK MP7 here.
So many of the so-called milsim markers out there are so poorly done, they end up looking nothing like what they are modeled after. Compare the picture above of the BT marker with the real thing below:

http://world.guns.ru/smg/hk_mp7_b.jpg

Now if BT made it a decent electro that is durable, reliable, and can replicate performance and price of markers like the SP Ion, and Proto PMR, they might have a winner here.

I may not hardcore Milsim anymore, but I do "Get It".

I shot this at D-Day, its pretty damn cool. Its pretty much an Invert mini internally, and it handles really really well.
