So i just got a Zeus g2 and was able to play a bit with it last weekend and it was alot of fun just need to work some kinks out of how to reload it
focus:) I cant get it to chrono below 295 fps and i was wondering if any of you know a simple way to get it down below 280 so i can use it at jungle rumbles and such.

That's a new one. Usually pistols are tough to get above 260. :D
I assume you've already lowered the velocity with the veclocity adjusting screw? I don't want to sound condescending or anything, but remember that unlike Tippmanns, to lower velocity with this kind of gun you have to turn counter-clockwise.
If there's a shim on the mainspring, you can try taking it out. Referring to a Zeus diagram (http://www.warsensor.com/support/zeus/G2-Diagram.pdf), there may be a ring between the mainspring (P00501) and the spring guide (P01601), which pre-compresses the mainspring a bit to get some extra force. It's common on these sorts of markers.
i already checked the velocity knob when i was at the range and it was at the point of almost falling out and the gun still chronod around 295. i also just checked the spring and spring guide and there does not appear to be any ring there.

Well that's just weird. Sorry, I'm out of ideas (other than maybe trying a Spyder spring kit, if they fit).

I had this issue with mine as well. There are one of two options you can go about to fix it.
** Disclaimer** I take no responsibility in what you do. Choose at your own risk.
1) Get a new spring (I have no idea what its called, its just the biggest spring) that’s smaller. So it Chronos lower
2) Cut a small chunk of the spring off. This is how mine was fixed. I took it to a pro shop, the gentleman behind the desk took the spring out, cut like 2 or 3 coils off, reinserted the spring and chrono again and it worked beautifully.
Keep in mind I am in no way a Marker Tech. I just know that’s how the gentleman at the pro shop fixed mine.

I had this problem with my gun a while back as well, I just left if cocked for a day or so and just let the spring "break in" and then the velocity was good to go.

It could just be a spring issue. How new is it? it could have a weak valve spring and strong main spring. I would get a stock spring kit for it, and replace with that first to see. Keep the other pair and put some kind of color on it so you know what each is as far as strength. You could use the set up you have now for colder weather, but you will probably have poor efficacy.
Now another thing. When you were chronoing what was the temp outside? If it was warm, say above 70 degrees, you may just have a temp issue with CO2. I say get the replacement spring kit and go from there.
You could always clip a coil at a time till you get it where the set screw is in far enough it wont fall out, but gives enough throw if you have to tune it up as you need.

T-Ran nailed it.
My Zeus shot hot out of the box, around 320 at a leaky damp cold indoor field, in the dead of winter. I clipped the spring to hit 290 with room for 50/50adjustment. 3 years later my Zeus wont go past 260-270 on a hot day, the spring has finally broken in and had I left it alone chances are it would be perfect.
Best thing for a pistol is shooting it...a lot.
Invest in a dummy 12gram or Zeus bottom line kit & put a couple cases through it.
