Be the cool kid on the block and get a DP G3.
Mini is a good gun very quiet, easy to clean, and all the problems can be fixed pretty simple, the players kit or team kit is sweet for repairs (every thing you could need for repairs). read up on them on pbnation if you havn't i learned alot about the mini from that site
EDIT:::
if u get a dp g3 i wana shoot it lol... those look sweet and i liked my fusion but i wanna shoot one before i buy it

goat hit the nail on the head with his post. I agree with him fully on the mini.
I love the mini and its a marker that will not let you down. I have never had a problem with the mini except on cold weather days. They're not the marker to use on cold days.

Yea we were in there yesterday and Rotter was telling us about the mini, and i have been wanting a lighter gun for a while now. soooo it looks like im going to buy the mini. thanks alot yall.
But what kind of things should i add to it??
player parts kit (http://www.paintballersinc.com/pd_invert_mini_player_parts_kit.cfm)
team parts kit (http://www.orderpaintball.com/invert-mini-team-parts-kit-pr-112435.html)
the players kit is a great addition has many orings and other things for quick fixes. team kit is the same thing with more parts and has a few more parts

ill have to get one of them then.
Is it worth it to upgrade the bolt or is the stock one fine?
uhh i used the stock one, i think badmoon switched his bolt. also there is a spring kit or something i read about on pbnation but i don't know much about it. also the repair kit that comes with the mini is fine for light repair.

I have a moraphine bolt I added to mine, reduces the kick back on your shots, the mini has a slight pull so that was a nice add on... I also bought a J&J pro edge pipe kit and to be completely honest, the stock barrel nice but the pro kit blows it away.
Even my gf bought a mini since she liked mine so much.

gratz man im sure you will like it.
very nice man... you might wanna check the battery board (foregrip) and make sure that board is the 1.2 version. the 1.1 tends to drain batteries faster.. if you have the 1.1 call kee, it should be a free fix. if its 1.2 board your ready to rock ;)

but on youtube they got people taking them out of a carboard box (version 2 maybe)
or maybe they shiped it to their house, so they put it in cardboard to keep weight down
tomorrow will be awsome! picking mine up

Has anyone used both the Proto rail (se or regular) and the mini?
I can't make up my mind on these two(yes, I've read reviews at pbreview).
Thanks.
i own a pmr and owned a mini, they are both great guns i liked the rail more probabbly because i shot the rail for a year before i got my mini so i find the pmr more comfortable, lots of people know the minis around this site and at splattag so if ur mini goes down it would be easier to fix.
the pmr is harder to maintain i would say because its bolt has more orings, they both have about the same loudness. pmr comes with alot of stock plastic parts so i would recommend the new designz accent kit for the pmr it replaces the plastic things with metal.(eye covers, feed neck, bolt cap, and trigger) the plastic parts are fine to play on but i would replace them asap
Yea they still come in the metal case. :D or atleast mine did. i dunno how long CC has had it for.
All minis no longer come in the aluminum cases. If your lucky, you will get one of the older markers that still retains the aluminum case. They cut back on the prices of the mini to $325, thus no aluminum case.

Is it common to have to reset the siloenoid (sp?) freguently or is it one of the things that just needs to be broke in a bit?
Am I doing something wrong when I clean it? I feel stupid for asking, but I dont know what else to do!! I know mine is one of the older ones. I bought it about a year ago, and I got one with a case if that helps.
I havnt used it much myself, as I borrowed it to a friend and he didnt know about the siloenoid issue and has had it since Oct, and I just got it back.
when its not aired up and u turn off the eyes (turn on gun with trigger held back) and u shoot once does it click? or do u do that often? what number does it say on ur board by the battery? optimus 1.1 or 1.2?
Erndogg
06-03-2008, 01:57 AM
Yes it clicks. I was doing it a bit the other day so I could fine tune the trigger. I dont have the mini with me but if I remember correctly its 1.1
MMPTgoblin

They changed to the 1.2 and that is probably why.
