Well doesn't this just suck....Being a CNC enthusiast that I am, I would be all over this game like a fat kid on a cup cake (I can use that saying I am a fat kid and know first hand the lure of a cup cake).
But this just happens to be on the same day as the HFTC so I am therefore committed to hunt.
The story has some potential oh well. I guess Ill have to wait for it to possibly happen again ><

Depending on Turn out, we will possibly be running the event again later in the year with the introduction of more game-based items. Since we know we're competing with HFTC [silly planning on our party ><] we don't expect big numbers so we're holding off on some of the super cool stuff until later in the season.
Also watch out for our July "Red Dawn" Big game and see how we run things ;)

Looks like another great scenario game! Please take pictures and send them to us and we will get them up on the web site.
Thanks!
Darrin
P.S. Post the July Scenario when you have all the info.
P.P.S. Any chance the Adventure Zone will be updating their web site this year? :)

This Pains Me! :(
I have been a C&C fan since the old days of NoD & GDI. The only other feild I know of that does C&C scenarios is Sudden Impact in IL, I have always wanted to go. Been wondering when someone will pick up on the "Red Alert" and "Generals" storylines, I think they would make a great scenario.

I'm actually waiting for the log-in information and will be taking over the Adventure Zone's web site...
a mock site is in the works right now as an example until I get the info at http://www.freewebs.com/theadventurezone/
I hope to have the July info done by next Friday, all efforts are going into making this sunday's game run as smoothly as possible, and since we seem to be getting a lot of interest we have decided that we will be running the C&C: Tiberium Conquest Scenario again in October - With roles such Harvesters, Engineers, Demolition Experts, NOD Bombers and Spies, we'll also be introducing a lot of fun missions and items as well as a few surprise roles at the October game that we're going to hold off on for this weekend's game - but you should still send out any friends so they can report back to you with a taste of this weekend's action.

We've been working on writing the Tiberium storyline scenario and once the rules are perfected for it, I will be writing a scenario that falls in the Red Alert universe too.
We welcome constructive input from those that attend so we can make things better for the players, after all thats who its about :D

ooh the Generals/Zero Hour story lines would be kind of fun to play around with. Especially if one could come up with a plan to use all the generals in the story line. Toxin Infantry...Stealth Chinooks...Aura bombers....those nasty A.P.C.S that the inf general had...oh wow the options could be limitless ><
/sigh now I want to play C&C again ><

From Specter Paintball:
We would like to express our greatest apologies to the players that came out for the Big Game. Though there is no excuse for it, it was something that was, much to our dismay, not in our control. It wasn't until 10:30 this morning that we were told that we were losing our fields to 2 reservation games that had been scheduled at the same time, cutting our field size to less than half of what it original had been.
We also apologize for any of us being in a poor mood, but the Organization had put a lot of time planning [and field arranging in rain and snow] for the event so we were extremely livid when we were told that the Big Game group would just have to run as an Open Play.
While we will not outright verbalize our complaints here, we want to assure the players that were there that something like this will not happen and will not be tolerated again and we are working with the Ownership at the Adventure Zone to make sure that the events that went down today won't happen again in the future.
We also realize that we did not give a lot of advanced warning before the Command & Conquer game, the game was sprung upon us and we made sure to get any details we could out as soon as they were known to us. We have already started advertising for the July 13th Big Game, which we will guarantee will not see the problems that today's Game did.
We would also like to explain a few things that many people may not have realized. While the group before us advertised Big Games for 9:00 and didn't start them until 12:00n, we plan to utilize all of the time that we are given. All advertised times said that the game was planned to start at 10:30, 11:00 at the latest but 15 players did not make enough to make a Big Game. It wasn't until nearly 2:00 that we reached an amount of players that would make the Big Game function. We request that for any future events players interested in coming send some form of communication before hand, for the next 2 events we will also have pre-registration available, day-of field fees will be bumped $10, to encourage players to register early so we can plan accordingly.
If there are any questions or concerns please contact me via PM, or call the field and make sure that they write everyting down and give it to the Specter Organization.
Once again, we want to express our greatest apologies for the disappontment, but when the boss-lady says "Turn them into Open Play" we don't have the authority to say otherwise.
