View Full Version : April 27 - Operation B**ch Slap Scenario Game DDAY
Splat Tag's Jungle Rumble #2
Thanks to everyone that came out and played. We hit 124 players.
Weather was great until 4pm then the temp dropped.
Some of the hardest games I have seen played ever. It was like playing the Splat Tag Ironman Game all day!
Big thanks for Nate and Jay for helping to set up the DDAY playing fields this past week.
Drew and Lance for building the Urban field and other forts through out Splat Tag this past week.
I thought the refs did a great job all day. Thanks!
I want to know what eveyone else thought. Good and bad.
You can also give Splat Tag a public review at http://www.pbreview.com/fields/reviews/719/ Good or bad I really want to know what you think of Splat Tag and how we run our games. I do read the reviews and try to get better with each event we run.
Thanks!

there was so much paint flying everywhere in those last few games it was just nuts out there. you could hardly find a spot to catch a breath without getting shot from somewhere.

Did anyone mention flying paint everywhere?:D The day was surely differant from the regular woodsball scenarios we've played the past few years. For those who were there will know what we're talking about:scared0012:.
I know now that an old school automatic (Tippmann F/A), was not designed and intented for a day like this. It shot up a 3/4 case in just the first game. The second Game was to be to much only able to unload a 1/2 a case before it surrendered to abuse. Cleaned it up and semi'ed it the rest of the day.:(
Anyway it was a definately a Bi**ch Slap of a Game. Thanks Splat-Tag for the memmories.deshelmet:)/AKA

Quick Comment: You still have a cafe 13 sign on that base. i believe that was the base I reffed (at resident Evil).
This looks like a fun day i wish i could have been there but with the Hunt coming up I didn't have $$. I forgot this was full-auto that would have been awsome to play (if I had the right hopper). hope nobody got seriously injured (sprained ankle, etc.) besides of course the usuall.
Will all the rain leading up to Sunday we could not get the 2 Scenario Boats painted that were on the Tower course that were used at the end of the day. I did not take a lot of pictures of the boats on that course.
Did take a little video, have not played it back yet, so I do not know what I have that is uses able. :)
All went well from what I could see. I thought everyone had a great attitude all day and played some of the toughs games I had ever seen.
With the Allies being able to reinsert no stop it was like playing Splat Tag's Ironman all day. To me it looked like most games where won when most players ran low on paint and air. help:)

Doh!...I got Smurfed...:scared0012:
Actually I had a pretty successful day... made some crazy lucky shoots w/ that interesting Weapons Grade orange paint.
Beach Landings Game on the Tower Field was an experience too.
For everyone who wussed out baby:) and didn't come due to the cool temps, you missed a Great Day of Paintball!

I thought last Sunday was rather nice, as far as weather goes.
Granted, I wasn't at the game, but my excuse will be somewhat more valid in the coming weeks.
