I've wonder many times why they would put up there hands to block thier faces when off the break. What purpose does that do.

If I'm going to get shot in the face. I rather get shot in the helmet then on my hands.

when you run your head bobs so u put your hand there to prevent from getting hit on the sweet spot right above your mask and it helps from getting shot off the break
