I just got a email from a team coming to the Splat Tag "Giant Big Game XIV" on Saturday, June 7.

Badger or Nate you guys have the two main Tanks.

Last I have a question and it may be a long shot, but I have to ask. I have a friend who is in a wheelchair. He's a physical guy, he races in marathons across the county. He was also the guy in the wheelchair who was on the 35w bridge when it collapsed. I know that its going to be very hard for a wheelchair to go crashing through the woods, but I do know that you guys have a tank that goes crashing threw the woods just fine. If you allowed him to tag along and fire out one of the tank port holes that would totally make this guys day.

Thank you very much, there are a lot of us who can not wait for this years game, and thank you for setting up such a large scale and awesome paintball experience!

Luke Johnson

Post here if one of the Tanks have room for his friend.

I think the MN Militia/CC Military Tank is bigger and hold more people.

If our tank is available, we'll take him, no problem.

Yeah... I'd say that guy deserves a ride in a tank...

wow, what a nice friend. i agree he deserves it.

Edit: you know we could probably get a news team out there to tell about this story... it would be good publicity for Splatt tag and it would be a great story.

idk that he would want that kind of attention. Although, if he agreed to it, would be a good opportunity to bring a positive portrayal of the sport to the media.

I was thinking the same thing. I know I wouldn't really want news attention in his situation.

not sure if he'd be intrested but Ironwood Christian ranch has a wheelchair sports & rec camp june 14-19. the last 2 years we have helped run a paintball game for them, THis year the owner is letting us take some of the wooded land and clear it so they can play in the woods...If they wood like more info about it i'd be more then happy to help out...

I have the roughest riding tank, rides like a lumber wagon. Also I won't be able to bring my tank to the June giant big game. The gas prices are WAY too high now so I figured I'll skip it this year and buy the new gear for it over summer (hopefully).:character0051::p

Thanks for taking an interest in my buddy's Situation. Thank you all for offering him a spot on your tanks. My team and I were hoping to be on BLUE this year for the Big Game. So Badger, We'll take you up on your offer. My friends name is Marcello. He is an easy going guy and I don't think he has any problems with interviews. One thing about the media is that a story will only last so long. We had around 20 different news teams come to work that week after the bridge collapse (even one from Mexico City). After one week there was nothing. I'm sure if there's any way for him to help out the Sport or shine some light on the Giant Game he will. Thank you all again and we'll have to get in contact sooner to the Game.

The main thing is that he has fun. i think that he just wants to have fun without cameras in his face. the whole interview thing was just an idea.

If you still want to keep his story in the limelight, I can write another story about the GBG for Paintball 2Xtremes magazine and include him in it. Giving this story a new angle, might keep the game article going for another publication. I'll leave the decision up to him when we meet him day of game. beret:)
