Who here thinks Brett favre is really retiring after last season. I understand why he would want to retire and that he probally should, but I seriously think after this past season he could make it atleast back to the CHampionship game. Your thoughts.
Think think he should play on.

I don't really follow any NFL teams, but if the guy wants to retire, why not?
He could probably invest his saved income from the years and live off the interest.

It sucks, but what are ya gonna do? I'm not ready to jump on the Aaron Rodgers bandwagon just yet, either. beret:)

doesn't really matter, we're all still gonna have to listen to John Madden and his "man-crush" on Favre.
"well, the way I see it is, that , uh, Brett favre is the greatest that ever Lived" in a mock John Madden voice.

"The thing about Brett Favre is, he's a great player who played great football. When you can play great football, in the NFL, well then, that pretty much means you're a great player." beret:)

Are you joking? You just missed him not two weeks ago. My girlfriend and her sister got front row tickets. They really liked him a lot, they talked about him for hours after they got back. I wish I could have went... I will post up some more.. When I get time...

I'm a Vikings fan to the core! But, Favre is by far one of the best! The games here will not be the same. I heard he was fed-up with just about getting there, but not quite. And he had issues with the Pack not picking up Moss. Oh well, it was fun....

I don't think they would have picked up moss or should pick up moss.
As for the Question, will he retire or should he retire this coming season has really got to be a tough choice for a player like Brett. Its always going to be tough to quit something you enjoy so much and are really good at. But in some cases its best for guys like Farve to step out gracefully with his records and his history in tact rather than being run down and finishing his career in a losing finish. People tend to only remember the bad points to a Stars career in the end. Now I don't know him well nor do I know what kind of shape he's in these days, but if he loves the Game and wants to continue playing then maybe stay and play back-up and help out the starter with all he knows. Now thats gracefull./AKA

If that's the only positive thing a Vikings fan can look forward to, you should really think about finding a new team to root for. beret:)
