As it stands, I will actually be presenting a single trophy to recognize the outstanding contributions of a single member of the organization. However, we will also be discussing the implementation of a points system which will allow the BadgerBrigades to award "Most Valuable Team" and "Individual Achievement" awards at next year's ceremony.
I would think that a similar counterpart to the BadgerBrigades exists in MN already in the Minnesota Militia and MNRat organizations. Farmland would also be a comparable organization.
Those of you Gophers who reside in the eastern area of MN and who play at least occasionally in WI (perhaps at Splat Tag or another western WI field) are also welcome to join the BadgerBrigades (as both Don "Badger" Grubish and Erndog <and his team Suburban Support> have done). Considering that gophers are a primary food source for badgers, it's nice to keep a few around. tongue:) Just kidding. The strong paintball community in MN was one of the motivating factors in the creation of the BadgerBrigades in 2006 and I have a great deal of respect for many of the MN players I have met when playing at Splat Tag.

So is MN starting its own thing?
We're working on it. Just need to work out a few more things.
Ghostwolf, if you've ever seen the MnRAT forum, you know it's pretty dead over there. Between a hack managing to blow out the entire memberlist and earlier problems, it's pretty well gone.

It basically will be gone after I get in contact with my web guy. It really isn't worth bringing it back since we got such an active forum here.

Gopher down! Gopher down! You know, of course, what that means to a badger don't you? LUNCH! dribble:)
I am truely sorry to hear of the demise of MNRAT, as I would be of any organized effort to advance the sport of scenario/woodsball. Having said that, I think that Darrin has the beginnings of a great organization here. I am more than happy to share from my experience as President of the BadgerBrigades any information that enables our MN counterparts to grow and prosper.
I can even envision a future where a "Scenario Paintball Network" umbrella organization co-ordinates the grand scale activities of similar networks in all 50 states and the provinces of Canada. But we'll speak of that another day.
