You don't have issues, If I would post everytime I entered this forum, well recently anyway, you would see post times at 2:00 am, 6 am, 9 am ect.... basically every couple hours. I am sure there would be a few around 4 am also. But I am young yet and don't value sleep on weekends. I want to be out and about having fun before I get into a full time job that will take up the rest of my life.

And you're still having relapses from being night security guard isn't it something about your shoulder??

1. That's not humor, that's just fact.
2. It's not exactly related to night security, but it is related in the sense that the incident happened because of being employed (I guess the best word would be "training accident," although it was more like a re-qualification in the sense that I had the job long before any training came around).

9 am at the "U"? YUK!
I hope your not going for an "Under-Grad" there...

Yeah, just earning a BS degree in Comp. Sci, which I think sums it up nicely.
Fear not, for all their attempts at indoctrination have failed (or is there something else besides the forced indoctrination attempts I still have to worry about?)

No... I haven't heard too much complaining on that one... (indoctrination to what?... or just a generalized ideology?)
I've just heard about the real impersonal approach that the "U" has towards the Under Graduates. All the good Prof's were hired for research, so you get stuck with a T/A. General Ed classes are over registered (300+ students per class). And the one I hear the MOST: The international programs that they host... A visiting Professor's inability to connect with the student due to the fact that they can barely speak English (that's gotta be fun).
I don't know, man... I'm a fan of MNSCU, myself (for Under-Grad Programs, at least).
You must be experiencing similar issues....?

Eh, let's just say they spent orientation trying to promote certain ideals of a controversial nature. Orientation contained no useful information to speak of. Then there's some of the general ed professors, but I digress.

From my experience, I can confirm/deny these as follows:
1. impersonal approach -- Confirmed, no doubt there
2. stuck with TA -- Sometimes, a lot of my classes still have had professors
3. over-registered classes -- I never had this problem, but I suppose it's possible for someone to have run into that
4. Language barrier -- You have no idea... there have been classes where I stopped going to except for taking the midterms/finals because I could not understand a word said. Computer Science has a lot of people from the east (India, Pakistan, and China are the main ones), and while some of them are ok, others I couldn't understand and had to rely on teaching myself the material.
The main reason I chose the U of M was that it was local. Allows me to stay the full paintball season and allows me to stay employed locally (which helps a lot for both paintball and those tuition bills). Thankfully, they're paying me $3k a year to go, so there's a good chunk of money saved.

Local... that's cool. EXPENSIVE housing, though, huh? ...or are you living with the folks, yet?
As far as I know the U has a pretty good rep with Comp Sci too.
I start a MBA at Saint Thomas in the Fall... Minneapolis Campus...eh...

Guilty as charged. Mutually beneficial deal, I don't have to conjure up the housing bill around campus (which is pretty expensive), and they get an extra hand around the place (not to mention a great home security system I bring with me known as a Saiga 12).
I figure that I'll look for a location when I've got a fulltime Computer Science job (which pays pretty nice).

I hear that. I am kind of doing the same thing. Staying home until I finish school and get a real job.
The only real down side I have is my younger sister. Shes at those teenage years where she thinks she knows every thing about every thing.

^^ Tell me about it. My sister thinks she knows everthing that happens at a school even though the only school experience is sitting in on my Grandma's class for 4 prieods (sp) (I did the same thing); we're home schooled if you didn't know. I on the other hand have been in a school not exactly participated (taking classes) but for sports (3hrs a day of listening about what happened that day). Granted I'm no expert but I think I have a better understanding.
