Sweet! My boys will be there for this. Vince always does a terrific job with this event. It is extremely fun. Every year that we have been to this its been a blast to play in. Hope everyone will show up to throw some paint...
I put up some pics from the 2006 Trench, couldn't take any pics from the 2007 one myself. It rained pretty good that day, We were having a difficult time trying to stay, some what dry. LOL

You shoot a fusion, and a ****** sub company marker. You need to hush esp if you really started playing last year. Let the men talk son. You can stand behind and listen in.

Rotter I am a little upset with you and your lack of faith in my ability. I swear if you bring that Tac out that day.... Use your buddies fusion and show him how a marker is really suppose to be handled. You can have whatever part of the field you want man. Just as long as you come out that day, we never get to actually play with you. You are always working.

Dude noobs like Telford. Yeah I did shoot an A-5 and if I still liked the gun I probably would still be shooting it, but it fell apart like the piece that it is. I never implied anything of your knowledge of paintball, just that your a kid and your making fun of my Ego. Which was not necessary at all. You don't know me nor do I care to know you. I used a lot of guns before I got my Ego. I shot a 98, a-5, Trilogy Cocker which is a way better than my a-5 which I dumped 600 dollars into a stupid scenario kit. Ion, I put in about 300-400 in that as well. I just sold my Mini and my Dm4. I know what I am talking about.
My gun doesn't make me a better player at all my 7 years of playing paintball does. That is why Rotter keeps saying that he will kick my butt on the field with a Tac because he has way more experience than me, which you don't.
Do me a favor next time you start running your mouth send it to me in an email so I can spell check it for you.

I have worked at north$ide for many years now and have fixed and dealt with many guns... Like I said before you know nothing about me. Its not on my list of guns because I would never buy one after dealing with them at North$ide.
You are the one who made the first comment. Of course I am going to say something about your markers.

If there is time to do a one on one it might happen as of now, its a waste of time in my mind. I dont care to find out who is better than who. If Rotter is actually going to be able to come out and I think Richard is as well I much rather spend my day trading paint with them. I have known those two for years now and have never had the chance to play paintball with them. I am not going to throw that chance away because goat boy ran his mouth around.

Oh and P.S. Ego's are not expensive at all or I would not own one. If you try hard enough you can find an 05 for 400-500.

Its been dug. Its probably one of the best fields out there. Although I can't see over 80 players on that field though. It will just be a big blood bath.

Yeah I am pretty sure he is going to do that again. All Vince has to do is call Jimmers and he will bring his bobcat out. Usually every winter adds two feet of mud into the trenches. Vince likes them almost 4-5' deep. Its still pretty far off to say anything. The trenches do look like c#r#a#p ( I cant say ****?) right after winter Vince is pretty picky so I don't think its a stretch to say he is going to fix it up before an event.

I just got an email back from him, he wants me to call him so I can write down what he is thinking. LOL I knew he would do that. I will have something up here constructive in a half hour.

Oh yeah who gets to quote themselves.

Ok he didn't give me too much to work with, the basic layout is from the 2006 Trench Wars which was a flippin blast to play. I will try and bring back what I remember from two years ago, bare with me please.

The field is basically a giant square with a decently sized base in each corner.
There is four teams (each team gets there own corner and base) of 25. If more people show up more will be implimented to each team. Vince does a good job in keeping "teams together" so don't worry about not being able to play with your buddies.

So lets say that there is 35 on each team, the 25 would be out and 10 would be waiting in the dead box behind there base. You would rotate out the entire day. If you get shot you would have to go back to the dead box and wait to be rotated in, and or if you need to leave the field to get air or supplies as well somebody would rotate in your place.
If there is 25 or less on a team you basically have to just touch your base and your back in! Which is a nice change compared to the 4 mile hike at splat. LOL

(but to add to Jimys note about having 80 on the field would be A LOT and it would be a complete slaughter fest out there)

Vince put a 12"*12" + (red cross symbol) sign on a nail so it would spin.ON each of the bases. Each end of the cross had a color of each base that was on the field. So lets say I was on the blue team and I just stormed in and took over the black base, on the front of the base I would spin that cross to the blue color and thats how my team would receive points.

Vince had each team have a general. If you shoot a general you are awarded so many points.
He also had cool flags that he put in random locations on the field and if your team was able to capture it an bring it back to your base you were awarded points as well for that.
Another way he tallied points was he made the field into a grid kinda like a football field were if you crossed some spot on the field your were award points that way. Its hard to describe this but its just your team getting award for taking over land.
That is really all I can remember. I will put more up if I can think of anything.I will put some pics (You will have seen some before to give you and idea of the layout)

The tan base in the left above the people in this picture is a main base/team base were you would reinsert and start the game off. You can see two more in the way background and the last one would be on the right but is cut out of the picture.

I would have thought Thalion would have chimed in by now, he always seems to be at events across the state. Your guys are more than welcome to come out and throw some paint with all of us. Badger what about you and your crew. I am going to your game now you have to come to this. Thats how this is going to roll! recon:)Any one else, I am going to name names to put you on the spot.This would be a great way for all of us so called teams to get together and strut our stuff. :)
It would be just plain old sweet if we could get a bunch of people out there for this. Everyone should consider at least giving this a try. I know you will have fun.

LOL... Yeah man there is plenty of ways to get out of the trenches that would be an entirely poopy situation to put yourself into. Don't worry about it! Plenty of ways to get out of those things.

I didn't see this question before... From what I know those guns are basically a hunk of metal and you can do nothing to them. I am almost positive that you can't put anything after market on them except the barrel. If my guys were able to put a new reg on it I think it would have come up in discussion in the past 4 years. I don't think they sell the trilogy series any more anyways. Which is a shame because they were terrific markers for their price. I hope that helps some what.

I know you guys have the busiest schedule out of all the teams in Minnesota, I was talking to Vince and he mentioned you guys came out and screwed around out at the field last year or the year before and how cool you guys were. Anyways I was wondering if any of you guys are interested in making an appearance at Trench. It would be cool if you guys showed up for sure. I really want Wrecking Crew to show up with the DT so I can show Vince the "hate thrower". No big deal if you guys are to busy I completely understand.
