the team thread should have a pasword on the thread so only the team members can look at the links. might be a way to get more people on the forum.

interesting Idea do you mean if we had a Sentinels thread, Wild Bunch thread, MN Chain Gang thread, etc...
This would cut done on pm clutter.
I don't see what this would do to benefit the general public of the State to view all things posted in this Forum. I beleive most Teams already have their own Forums or Websites where they can control the private issues they wish to discuss or even lock out their board so that only members may only read their boards. the Team Board is open to the public or guest so that he or she can view if there is a team from their area for which they might be able to join or question for information. I believe all Boards here are open for the guest to read and if their interest is good they will join to be part of whats going on here./AKA

I totally agree with AKA on this one. the percieved focus of this forum is to bring MN paintballers together, not keep them seperated. kinda one of the things i wanted to talk about at the meeting on the 17th. that's why the pm option is there, to allow teammates or other people to communicate privately, out of the public eye.

Well my stance was from not having a team forum but also seeing that only 3 members of my team(Sentinels if you didn't know) are on it would be a waste of space.

I don't think it's that great of an idea. The point of this forum, as others have said before me, is to bring MN paintball players together. Seperating them by teams and isolating those teams doesn't accomplish that.
I'd stick with it as it stands. Honestly, how many teams communicate solely by a forum?

no need to be fussy, if you would have said that in your first post we might have understood what it was you wanted. i think what you want is already accomplished in the Team Recruiting board. the title could easily be changed to just Scenario Teams. making it a broader forum without alienating those people looking for a team.
Honestly, how many teams communicate solely by a forum?
Well I know for one the PBPBC does. In fact we are going into our third year of using the Forum as a way to communicate and share the things we do and have done. I am a firm believer of the Forums and promote their use to everyone that I talk to. Heck, look at what is doing right now, getting together the people and groups that play the Game from all over the country. When one of our members was over seas he was still able to see what we were doing and when, veiw the Games pictures and videos and feel that he was right there with us. I had a guy from Oregon join our Forum because he happened upon it when Google sent him there. He liked what he saw and Joined. I used to have to call over 60 members on the telephone starting on Wed. night and finishing by Friday night every week we were to play. I myself have joined up to six differant Forums and tried to stay active in all. It is, in my opinion the greatest tool to communicate with others and gets the job done in only a few key strokes. So what I am saying BadMoon is only to create your own Team Forum, there is a lot of good free ones out there to use, in fact at the bottom of the PBPBC's Home page there is a link to start your own forum just like ours. If you need any help on that I would be glad to help you out. Now on a side note; keep your ideas comming by all means, it was'nt meant to "Slam" your idea by posting our opinions./AKA
