The kid from the looks of it didnt take the surrender and took him out.
Yeah kid shot him at point blank/close range, but to do that to the kid is uncalled for. Things like this give paintball a bad name IMHO. Its one thing to have that (crotch shot) happen in the middle of a game but something completly different to give a KID a bonus ball shot at point blank range because the kid didnt take the surrender and shot the guy instead.
Uncalled for, unnecissary, unsportsman like. Just plain wrong.:mad:

Like D.E said, if it had been me or my kid Ole Boy wouldn't have walked away with teeth testicles in tact. In fact if I had been on the field even if it wasn't me or mine and I seen that happen I think I would have bonus balled (maybe more then once) Ole boy as he was walking off the field.
Its bad enough that it happens to an Adult but to a child still developing testicular fortitude it could be quite devastating to long term development. Ever seen what the aftermath looks like for an Adult male at close range like that?
What the guy did wasn't funny in any way shape or form. It was cruel, vicious, unwarranted, and I would even say maybe even criminal (seeings how the game was completed *at least that part was* and the kid was clearly not over 18) so this jerk assaulted some KID because the KID didn't take a surrender and eliminated the opponent and he was mad because the KID responded to him coming up on him. How many times have you done that to someone with the same out come? Yeah the KID shouldn't maybe have shot the guy, but Ole boy should have NEVER EVER under any circumstances did what he did to a KID!
Yeah get pissed, maybe even yell complain, throw a fit BUT never do what was done. TO me its the same as the guy coming up to the kid after being eliminated and kicking him square in the fellas. Would that have been funny? Would that response been acceptable?

Makes it even worse that the JA did it. If he wasnt over 8 (which I suspect he was probably at least 10).
Doesnt matter that the kid was underage. We all have seen young players do that both on our side and against. Doesnt matter. YOU NEVER EVER do that to another player NO MATTER their age.
If this guy wasnt banned for life for doing this then I dont think I would ever want to play at that field.

totally agree the little kid was kinda in the right. i don't surrender and neither should he the older kid was way way wrong not what you do in that situation no matter how heated you are. deal with it off the Field non physical. and ya but the age limit is a rule and should not be broken some and i repete some kids can handle it. but for the most part i see kids that younge they are scared out of their mind and usally only playing so they don't disappoint their dads. some kids not all. not even reffering to kids wild bunch has brought out im usally imprest with thous kids.

There are paintballers with morals and there are paintballers who have no sense of honor. When I go out to a field. I always expect the worst. As fair as I play, everyone knows there is that one dumb arse out there.

Oh my! This video clearly shows the need for surrender rule clarification. Its hard to detirmine what exactly happened here other than the big kid rounded the bunker and tried to surrender the little kid looking down the little kids barrel. Clearly both kids pooped a little in the surprise of their meeting at close range. With both players being inexperianced and immature, reacted by instinct. The little kid shoots as he is surprised by his enemy, the older kid retaliates by his undeveloped human behavior and resorts to animal instinct to dominate his smaller enemy who had just taught him a LESSON in bunker jumpen. As far as that goes the little kid taught the big kid several lessons in the surrender rule, first of all never think your not going to be shot by simply saying surrender especially when looking down the barrel of your opponent. Second, don't ask stupid questions when you have just F'ed up. Third, Never underestimate your enemy no matter how small. Fourth, never overestimate your ability to administer the surrender. I could go on but I will finish by saying, never carry a weapon if it has been detirmined by yourself that you need one to be tough./AKA

That's the attitude that pushes people away from the sport.

It's all about fun, not shooting people after you're already eliminated because you're angry. As I see the film, the kid shot the bigger kid first, and the bigger one wasn't happy about it. Instead of learning his proper lesson about paintball, he assaulted (because really, if you're out and shooting, you're not playing paintball, especially in that context) the smaller kid.

i have the proto ones with a removable soft cup... their super nice... taken a couple in the nuts with & without them... its much better with to say the least... the other padding is nice when playing indoor... much more comfy than say a hardcup(lil overkill if you ask me)... probly the best $50 i've spent in pb... aside from my goggs of course

yep i got some smart parts ones and it helps protect other soft spots on the thighs also. i taken some nut shots with em on and you almost dont even feal em i mean you do but your not on the ground trying not to cry.

I got lit up my back calf on my first day 3 round burst didn't stop stop me. Also the side of the leg and back of the head isn't on the most comfortable list.

I got lit up the side of my leg about 10 hits no breaks (scary). Then there is the time I cut my self with a folding blade but we don't have to go into that.
