iv heard that to actually, eventually i will get some but for now, the larger hoses that i have seem to be working great. so until i have problems with them i think im just gonna keep the larger hoses.

but yes the QEV seems like it would be a great upgrade

I picked this up around Halloween. Word on the street is that this used to be Rich Telfords backup or practice gat. Its got a custom sonic care tooth brush magnet in the trigger...lol..., it rolls like a fat kid down a hill. Extremely quick.... My best is 22 on semi my buddy has hit 28.... This thing makes me poor...

Why would you even ask that? Look at the two couches and then look at the carpet. Even my girlfriend would wig out if we had that in our house... You could spill a whole bowl of peanut butter crunch on the floor and it would blend right in. Then again sad to say if I were single my place would most likely look like that as well. Except I would have a fire place, and in that would be that haggard lancer.... Dude come on... I would throw that marker at small children before I took that on the field. wow no i am not married i did just get out of a 6 year relationship an brando she picked the couches so ya its an apptment so what ever and im liveing with rotter(anouther ref) now. chaos the shocker is rotters but he is trying to trade it the duct tapes off now he dremmeled the blue off the body. and the lancer is haggerd ive even engaved the body lol and that lancer is a joke i lend it to newbys when all my guns are gone. and its missing a screw on the asa so the tank likes to spin around. more haggerd points to me

As you all know. I love my WG-65. Its a Heavy Marker But I dont care. I went away from the m4 look this year and installed a g36 opsgear kit on it. I LOVE IT.Its pictured with the 18inch vm68 rifled barrel but i perfer my short 9 inch barrel on it.

This Marker is a older tippman 98 with a m82a1 opsgear kit on it. it has a awesome responce trigger on it and i deside to go with a shorter j&j ceramic barrel and a Fake(wink ,wink)Suppressor on it. Accurate as heck with a little Woop sound behind it. I think i found my new primary weapon.

Thanks, I got the RAS mod from real action paintball (www.rap4.com i think). They have a kit for it that comes with the barrel, muzzle break, stock, clip, and rail ($150). All the parts are pretty good quality, the stock is durable, but the fit in finish isn't that great, it's kinda rough, I had to dremel the inserts to get it to attach. It's great because it's compact, but it's on the heavy side, especially with a tank attached. I'd guess it added another 2 - 2.5 lbs to the gun.

Special Ops has a special on A-5 A2's right now. $200 for an A-5 A2 which is a very similar setup.

That's actually a pretty nice kit, and it's the first one I ever bought, and it's pretty light weight too. Easy to install, $200 is a nice deal on that. I used the stock for almost 2 seasons and I wore it out to the point where it wasn't secure and wobbled quite a bit where I had to insert plastic shims, but then again I do a lot of sprints, dives, crawing, etc so i'm not surprised. The foregrip will be something you'll want to keep using with your A5 no matter what kit you have, it's comfy.

I just got a Tactical Duostock for my X7. I always shoot w/ the tip of my buttstock just abovemy shoulder. But w/ this one, it sits comfortabley w/ my shoulder, and for quick target acquisition too.

All depends on where or what I am playing. Speed ball, woods ball, Pump only games , scenario games. i have a marker for it all. Not to mention I like to collect for the rarity of a gun. I just picked up a flawless crossman 3357 revolver. Very hard gun to find in a decent working condition. same goes for the mokal titan and the F2. Ya just can't have enough.drool:)

Another great collection DaveJ, between you and lostboytodd mine has lost its luster. I had my hand slapped when my wife discovered I had almost 60 markers in my basement. Here is a pic of my modified 02 super stocker that I picked up dirt cheap. Its currently in getting an overhaul from Palmer's. Since it broke down. If all goes well I should have it back in time for Serenity Valley.

I am not a huge fan of the stick feed, but it definitely stands out. At the two games I used it last year before I broke it like a moron. I had about 10 people come up and ask me what it was.

Upgrades: Just the Dye Ultralite barrel and the SPD custom grips -- what else does a Viking need when it is as close to perfection as an electro can get?

2. Palmer's Hound's Tooth

Upgrades: the Stabilizer if you can call that an upgrade. It's a Palmer gun, perfection at its finest.

3. X7 (G36C format)

This was probably my cheapest project marker ever (it helps when I won the base X7 at Res. Evil, thanks Darrin beret:) ).

Upgrades: All I've done is basic work to it -- Palmer brass barrel, vertical grip, and basic Tippmann X7 G36 related mods. The sling is a PCS one-point if anyone is curious, and I'd recommend it any day to someone who wants a sling for their gun

Future Plans: I might get the squishy paddles from TechT for this. I don't really care for RTs or egrips on blowback guns, so that's not going to change. Way I shoot most of the time, mech stock trigger is all I need.

4. Autococker

Upgrades: This one came with what you see here (minus hopper). Already has the Palmer LPR and pneumatics, has an ANS reg of some sort. The barrel is by Dye, but what kind I cannot figure out.

Future Plans: This is my current project, and so far the only nonfunctional gear in my stuff (I blew some of the microline playing around today). I'm going to get it functional, then worry about a barrel. So far, I'm about 99% sure I'll be keeping this barrel and just adding a Python barrel kit to it.

Oh, and unlike my autococker colleague MondoMor (thanks for all the info btw), I am going to get a pneumatic shroud to keep the gun hit messes to a minimum.

5. Tiberius 8

On an interesting note, this is one of the USMG limited run anno jobs for the T8, and the last time I checked, only 22 of these existed in this anno. Already got enough magazines for it, so I'm good to go.

Upgrades: None. Doesn't need 'em.

Future Plans: If there's ever a mini barrel kit for the T8, I'd consider it.

6. JCS Launcher

That's exactly the body I have for my other cocker! I bought it to scavenge for its black reg and E1 frame. I had every intention of re-selling mine once I took what I wanted from it, but that Blue is so pretty...

I don't know the exact model either, unfortunately. A thread on M. Carter Brown would probably get you and I.D. and date range in about 10 minutes.

Edit: Actually, I found a cocker body database (http://www.pbase.com/k_macocker/wgp_autococker_body_id) linked on MCB, and I bet we both have 2003 Pro Stocks. (http://www.pbase.com/k_macocker/image/88540142)

Here we go. Family photo with close-ups of some of the family members.

In the family photo: Airow gun, Hound's Tooth, AKA Viking, TM7, PGP, Tiberius 8, autococker pump (two different barrels), and JCS scenario launcher.

As seen in the close ups, the autococker pump has a python kit and two barrels (going to test which one works better with the kit soon). The Tiberius has been running the Lapco barrel since the June GBG, and the Hound's Tooth is now running a PPS stock feed. The TM 7 has a Lapco barrel w/ the apex tip (though sadly, the harsh conditions last Sunday forced me to run with stock barrel because of its bigger bore)

Got to love being single, so much fun stuff. :)

To answer your question Bunker Buster for some reason when I put it on the way that is shown it just feels off in my hand so I rotated it around and it fits a little better.
I have not put a tape measure to it yet but if I were to guess it stands fully extended over 36 inches.

Props to your gat Krustie. I used to have like the first G36 kits on the good ole A-5 from ops gear back in the day. I miss that thing sometimes extremely accurate, really accurate now come to think of it. Almost takes any 5 bill gat for a run for its money. Don't miss lugging that thing around though. Im excited to shoot at twelve cuz I get to work on my 1on1 skills a lot more and its going to slow the pace down quite a bit out on the field. Its going to be a blast. 300a:)

I have similar feelings - I don't even shoot that fast with electros when I use them.

My real draw to the electronic markers are eyes, so there's no way I chop a paintball in semi-auto fire. Even with shooting at a slower rate of fire and even with a fast loader, it can happen to a mech (exception going to a finely tuned automag with level 10 bolt, but you know what I mean). I also like the consistency over the chrono.

That's why you'll see me out there with two polar opposites - pumps/pistols on one hand and electros on the other.

My personal goal is to not spend any more money on paintball gear if it's possible for the 2009 year, just enjoy the armory on-hand and "remember the game." I say "any more" because I did pick up some new pod hauling equipment between November and now.

There might be a project on one existing gun in my collection, but it'll be < $100 and it's with the intent of improving ergonomics with what "feels right" to me.


Off Topic - I've owned 4 different Tippmann markers (1 98c, 2 A5s, 1 X7 I won at Resident Evil '07), just never at the same time. Then again, depending on your point of view, one could argue I own another 4 Tippmanns

2008 Hunt for the Cure

It only comes out for specific events, and the team as a whole chips in for paint. It was also at Battle of Serenity Valley, and will be returning for the GBG in June. I'm taking the gun (not the whole tank) with me to D-Day for the beach, then I'm going to play a normal game with more normal gear after the beach is done.

We had a bit of a team discussion on that tank back when we were building it, they opted for the "area effect" method over proper aiming. It's a long story, but short version is the area effect guys won out over more conservative guys.

(That's why I said "depending on your point of view," because while I don't use it as a personal marker, I did put money into it for the team project)

Just a little bit ;). With the economy going in the crapper, I'm finding more and more markers that I've wanted coming up for somewhat affordable prices lately.

This season alone, I'm going to have around 9 new markers that I got over the long winter lol.

I know everyone from the coalition base saw it. the tank was in direct site.It was towards the end of the day. I kept hearing people yell fom coalition base ,Krutsie get out of there. lol

It sounds like a weed wacker when it is firing. At BSV right away I didn't realize the gunner couldn't be eliminated by paintballs so I ran up behind the tank ang gave the gunner one in the back. Bad move! He swung it around on me and sent a few rounds my way. I didn't get hit but it was a tense couple seconds. Got pinned down in a fort by it later too.
Later on in the day I got up behind it again while they were attacking one of our forts. There was no "overshooting" rule for the tank gunner so I just kept shooting him until he let go of the guns and dropped down. My team then surrounded the tank and proceeded to shoot the screen out. We kept the tank pretty much defensless until we could get a law there to take it out.
The tank is very effective as long as the guns are able to stay firing. The open back on the turrent makes the gunner an easy target though.

PTP is actually coming out with a 09 Micro Mag body. A few things they improved this time around including a interchangable breech drool:). I don't see many Micro's around, and they're one of my favorite (affordable) bodies you can get.

The ones by the snatch grip...
You don't need them and you run the risk of tightening them to much and cracking your noid. Which planet doesn't make anymore... So yeah... Just get rid of those two back screws and you should be good to go...

Sadly I don't have any .62 caliber paint for itbangh:)
And I only have 10 stripper clips for it as well.

Plus it needs some fixing, stripper clips aren't feeding for some reason, and it has a leak I need to find.

I have them for all my markers now and I absolutely love them!
Take up way less room than the actual gun cases and give protection I wouldn't have just putting them in my gear bag. Deffinately worth the money and way better quality than I expected.
