Soldiers of the Midwest Alliance,

I am back from my time away. Following our victory a year ago, I was assigned from the President of the MWA to travel to the Southern Coalition.

I could not discuss this assignment with anyone at the time. The mission was classified. After all, we are still in a state of mistrust and ever-growing tension with the Southern Coalition. I could not take the chance of any overzealous or hostile elements inside the MWA or the SC interfering.

I have spoken with General Marcus Aurelius of the Southern Coalition, and with Aurelius' authorization, I have trained new guerrilla units prepared to operate in GLC territory. I even personally led a few of their daring raids. I am pleased to report our success across the southern border of the Great Lake Crusaders, and even an elaborate infiltration to sabotage infrastructure in Chicago.

Today, our two great nations signed a treaty of non-aggression, in the spirit of peace. My time as a diplomat, an instructor, and an insurgent is done. I am returning home to assist in an upcoming skirmish. I will be serving under General Rotter, both to plan and implement the forthcoming invasion. We will cross the St. Croix and retake the buffer zone that was lost while I was away.

We cannot allow any further artillery rounds to be dropped on our people from the east banks of the St. Croix. That part of Wisconsin must be under Midwest Alliance military control if our citizens are to live securely.

It is just a paintball battle of high numbers., but I feel starting "Before Game Hype" gets taken wrong and I will not let this event be tainted. I am exited and have recruited, I'm just waiting to find out who Darrin wont let me have. LOL. Win or loose, I will be honored to fight against you.

Like I said before.... I really want to play for both teams... who knows I might get to if D has anything to say about it;). We are all waiting impatiently to see how the next big game is going to be laid out.
We are just as frustrated and impatient as you man just hang in there.

D's got a lot on his plate so I'm sure as soon as he gets a chance to throw something together he will. He cares more about the games quality than any of us on here can try to appreciate.

And hey, while my Commander is your General opponent I want you to know I'm looking forward to a good clean fight and this should be a good one. The past two years I think the GBG logistics have been a challenge because the weather walked a lot of people off and D had to find ways to even things up. I kinda think it makes sense to keep things open until the date gets closer.

That aside, good to see you (and Rotter) out at the Stargate JR on Sunday, sorry about those bonus balls man, shouldn't have let that 3rd one slip, but I had to be sure, I knew any misses on you meant major payback.

Actually not a big fan of the auto trigger, I always seem to double chamber or chop when I use it. Dunno if there's a way to chrono it, but I figure I can get 2-3 BPS with single stroke shots on the 'ole SL.

It was pretty close range though, but that first shot really looked like it glanced your hopper, honest.

Just wanted to pop in and say thank you to our commanders. You guys led a hell of a game all day, and we were happy to have been in your service. Team Akkadian is excited to try to get more games in next year at Splat Tag. We have a better and better time every time we come up.
