Had a great day playing with everyone. Looking at the picture, I think we had 32 players today. Nice to have a low key game ever now and then...though I think I'll stick with my pistol for next time!

Yup. That's him.
MDC Sports re-opened at the Valhalla Shopping center off of Elton Hills Dr in NW Rochester.
Doesn't look as though they are doing paintball or the other sports anymore. They are going back to their roots of SCUBA.
Good to see him back out there though!!

thats Jim, everyone knows Jim...
Jim was the first person in the world to use compressed air in paintball (maybe not the first but close)
I was one of the little weiner kids that worked at his field when it first opened up

Some things never changedribble:)
Don't know about the fills (scuba yes, paintball most likely no). "If" I remember correctly, I think they sold most of their HP fill station stuff, but not sure when they moved out of Miracle Mile.
They are filling Scuba tanks though. Last time I was in there a couple of weeks ago they had a sale going on tanks. I think it was $1 per CI (I think). So an 88 would have been $88, etc.
And on Splat Tag Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/editalbum.php?aid=11011&add=1&id=108833719153864&flash=1#!/photo.php?pid=150055&id=108833719153864&fbid=133207916716444

Thanks for the good time and the pics.
After seeing Hydrohawk enjoying his black chrome Tac-8, I had to pull mine out to play with, finally. Pod packs don't make very good mag holders!

Actually, I've discovered that you can fit 2 Tac-8 mags in a vertically mounted 140 round pod pouch if you put a tennis ball at the bottom...

The problem with my pack was that when I came to a sudden stop (or dove for cover), the mags flew out the top of the pod sleeves. It's a PITA to have to scramble to pick up mags when you're getting shot at. :character00118:
Now that I know I like playing with a pistol, I'll hack up some temporary solution until I can put together a MOLLE rig.

I got two Molly magazine pouches from cc military each hold two mags. Snap them onto by web belt with my holster and good to go. add a drop pouch and now you can carry a small pod to refill your mags in the field also

That's probably what I'll do, though I'm contemplating one of these: springing for one of these (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh-_neXJE3A).
I really enjoyed yesterday, waaaaay more than I thought I would. :D

Yes, that is me standing in the back last Sunday. I usually play with Scotty, Goody, and Tom Grimm. We all used to play paintball as a team. We all know Darrin and we are all Old School players. We like to play pump because there is less "etrxa curricular" activites when we play pump.

Actually it was a sale on Scuba tanks and it was $1 for each cubic foot. So an 80 cubic foot tank (standard aluminum 80) would be $80, a aluminum 63 cubic foot tank would be $63. They are not selling any paintball equipment. They do not have the capacity to fill paintball tanks. Their tanks are being filled off-site right now so they do not have a capacity to fill paintball tanks right now. The CO2 station is gone. The HP filling system (4500 psi) is in storage. Their big compressor is in the process of being updated.
If you have a scuba tank that needs fills and itis up to date (Visual inspection sticker and hydrotest) then they can fill the tanks for you.

Great to see you on the forums Jim. I know we've met but only a few times. I used to come into MDC with Frank all the time. Team Woodland Security.
