So I figured I might as well start this one off, anyone got any epic stories?? I'm sure a lot do, because really, with 500 people running around out there, it's pretty tough to have a mediocre day

So for me my story comes from right at the end, at the final battle. i had just happened to be at the main base when we got word we would be getting a free Terminator and so Rogue asked for a volunteer and since I had just filled up on paint and air and wanted a little excitement i figured what the heck and went for it. so 45 minutes later i actually got the jersey... no joke, it took that long, but for good reason, the cart bringing it had gotten stuck and im sure right after there were attempts to get it out, go somewhere else, etc. etc. but in the end the ref had too hoof it all the way up to our base, he was a little out of breath. so with 15 to go i booked it down to the towers (yes i got permission to run from the ref, considering if i walked i wouldn't get there till game over) and got with a few WB guys and with about 10 minutes to go started flanking around D-Day to get in behind. so with 6 minutes to go we finally break cover and start shooting, from behind them, perfect situation right? terminator+WB+unsuspecting victims=perfect right? well with 5 minutes to go, my Rotor jams up on the footballs i was shooting (humidity really sucks) so after realizing it i needed some time to get it undone i just turned off the eyes and dry fired and yelled "Surrender! surrender!" and tried to be really scary and it actually worked, so i made a half moon around D-Day without firing at all basically. luckily i had the Wild Bunch guys with me (Cutstep, and one or two others) and they really saved my ***... i woulda been screwed without them... and after 6 minutes i got 15-20 welts on my left arm, can't imagine what the whole hour (or till i got killed) woulda been like, but it was a good first experience so hopefully ill be back for more!

So after that long winded story, who else has some sweet stories to talk about?

That last half hour of the game today the squad I was running with (MN Miliita members, as well as C4 Explosives and another I believe) were given orders to fan through the bases in the backwoods to score extra points if possible, or defend any bases that were possibly under attack from the Midwest Alliance opposition. So we set off toward Yellow base, and found no opposition along the way.

We still maintained control over Yellow base, cool, so we continue on our way to the North Oil refinery. We eliminate one straggler/lone wolfer who was making his way to capture it. We continue, more cautiously as we are getting deeper and deeper into enemy territory. We yet again walk into Charlie 1 and 2 unopposed. Things are starting to get eerie. We group up and start to talk about our plans.. we decide that we're so close to Red HQ that we might as well assault it, and hopefully atleast take out the General in the process.. so we cautiously move up and flank behind the Red Main HQ.. anticipation is building up within the group -- we're so close and yet we haven't been spotted. In a quick burst of courage we rush up to their Main HQ, and C4 is the first within the boundaries..
..all that anticipation to find that their General and some of his buddies had already been eliminated.

At this point there is only 5 minutes left in the game, and we didn't want to finish with an anti-climax, so we decide to hoof it to the open field where we can hear all of the action taking place. We wind through the D-Day field and end up at Fort NC, where we realize our group is conveniently behind the whole damned Alliance force!!! Several members of our group immediately push up behind the enemy forces and flush them out, a couple getting hit in the process. At this point I figure its the end of the game anyway, so I might as well make a move -- so I do something daring. I take to the north boundary line, and run like hell.., right in front of Red's respawn! As I'm running past, I see one enemy reinserting from the respawn, so I take him out with a couple well placed shots to the goggles. He really gave me a look of suprise after that one! After that I keep pushing up, aware that as soon as he respawns I'll be in a pretty tight situation. I make it up to a small patch of trees, behind the plywood bunkers on the north side of the field, which is sprawling with Alliance combatants. As I make my way through this small grove, I see two Alliance facing the other way, shooting down the hill towards my guys who are pushing up. I unload a spray of shots into them (I think I hit the front guy a few too many times, afterwhich he became a little irate with me, so whoever that was I'm sorry about that! I promise I was trying to hit your buddy

behind you!). After I took those two out, I made it to the edge of the grove, where all of the Alliance's attention is focused on the droves of Crusaders trying to push up the hill. I run to the nearest plywood bunker, where I see the butt of an enemy sticking out. I shoot, and miss, but he didn't know he was being shot at. At this point I decide to run up, and surrender him. He complies without any issues (hard to argue when a barrel is aimed right at ur back at 5 ft. away :D)

After that, I look down the hill only to see the exposed backs of 10-15 enemies ripe for the picking! I immediately engage the first bunker I see which has 2 behind it... I spray paint downhill onto them, eliminating them both. I keep running along the tapeline in order to get a shot on the next bunker. Same thing as the last time, I rain paint down upon their poor souls, and eliminate them also. At this point I am nearing the last occupied bunker within my range on the back boundary, and the Crusaders are really pushing hard up the hill, we have the remaining enemy on the Field in a vicegrip. There are 2 players in the last bunker. I raise up my marker to engage them as one turns around and spots me at the top of the hill. Immediately they raise their hands and surrender, sparing themselves the humiliation of being bunkered from either side. Needless to say, the final battle was epic, awesome, and friggin amazing!!!

Well where to begin....
Probably just dive into two parts of the day I enjoyed thoroughly...
Start of the game.... My guys and I headed to the Air Field or whatever it was called yesterday. Idk why we do it we always get frustrated cuz we never bring a dumb LAW with. LOL we ended up taking over the tower on our right side. I think Payter from my team army crawled up there and touched the base and raised the flag. I bumped up to that and saw the Alliance tank enter the field through the driveway for the Jungle Rumble games and take out the tower on the left. Then they came to the tower where I was sitting and shot it. I got killed by the law and then the ref raised the flag for them shooting it with the Law . I heard through the grape vine that a ref took it back down cuz you are suppose to physically raise the flag. I hope that was true. Its really frustrating to make all that progress and then have bee wiped out by the tank. I wanted that thing to blow up into a fiery inferno of death. LOL

Before lunch time we back at the towers again my guys and I made a big push to hold off alliance till lunch break so we could get points. I got myself dead so I watched WB hold the ground till lunch for points. GOOD JOB KEN!!!

How we ended the day was epic. After lunch break we headed over to the Alliance main base and only ran into a few guys on the way lol they were really confused that we were that far in. Got to the main base took out everyone in there only to find out that WS had done it before lunch break. The refs or someone on the alliance said that our team wouldn't be awarded points for doing all that. So that made me pretty upset so I led my guys to the dday field and mowed down everyone on the field. LOL and then WB started shooting at us because they are used to doing that hahaha.
I made it to about 2pm on two cases of paint... We all ran out around then too so we decided to pack up and leave. FUN FUN FUN day. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Sorry I didnt get to take pictures, I trust my ego in the rain but not that camera. LOL

I've got a few, but i'll throw this one down for now.

Second half, out of air, walking back towards the tower field (Yellow Base) from the giant field (North Oil Refinery) which I had just held for about 45 minutes. As i'm walking up out of giant I see guys on our team hunkered down firing up at some MWA guys on the ridge path between giant and field 2. They ask me to help out, but I told them I was outta air, but then I said, "Screw it, i'm gonna go barrel tag them, brb".

So I walk back down the trail towards the north oil refinery, cut into the woods to the left and started creeping up the hill towards the back of what looked like a 4 or 5 man squad up on the hill. On my way some poor MWA guy walked right past me and got in my way, didn't see my armband, probably figured I was on his team because we were headed the same way, he picked up his pace so I literally had to run him down to tag him before he got to the top and they spotted us both. I think I spooked him.

After that I crept up a little, spotted 5 guys on the trail and bolted, full sprint into the open and barrel tagged all of'em. As I turned right to duck down into field 2 I was confronted by at least another 15-20 guys, none of them noticing what happened or even looking my direction. So I just sprinted through their line tagging like crazy, in a few instances putting my barrel between two guys and tagging side to side whispering "barrel tag, you're out". It was a total blur, I couldn't keep count, or keep track of the guys I was tagging, I just know it was a lot, it happened really fast, and that I didn't get them all.

The amazing part is that nobody opened up on me, and the guys that I tagged went out silently, that was some pretty stand-up play. I ended up being able to sprint right down into the brush and never took a hit.

Of course, this doesn't match what Krutsie pulled off, but i'm pretty sure Woodland Security had a pretty high barrel tag count by the end of the day :P

Getting old sucks. I dont play winter paintball because I have a old right ankle injury that always acts up in the cold. It was fine in the morning but it started hurting in the afternoon. sunday it was as big as a grapefruit. went to the doc today and I sprained it again. I guess from now on I'm going to wear this aircast playing paintball even when my ankle is healed and stay away from ammo crates. LOL

Krutsie man you gotta tell your barrel tag story!

I've got a few others...Off the break we head down towards Urban and start trying to move up on the towers. I'm at the last plywood bunker before the right tower and paintballs start hitting the plywood, on my side, right next to me. Turns out there was a tank gunner in the old Warfare tank on the Urban field spitting paint at our backs. Slumlord, Wicker, and me roll back and assess the situation. This thing was just shooting us all in the back. Somehow Wicker manages to get into the middle of urban, but this gunner has him pinned, i'm up behind some netting, and Slum is hunkered in some bushes. I realized that if we could get the three of us in a triangle around him that one of us could take him out, but man he was quick with spinning that turret. So I call Slumlord in to book to the Urban insertion, but mid sprint he pulls his hamstring and gets hit out. I radio Wicker and tell him i'm going to try and get the turret's attention so he can run out and tag the tank. So I run out yelling at the gunner, calling him a chump and a punk trying to get him to spin on me, but he doesn't turn, just keeps Wick pinned down. So I said screw it and ran up and tagged him out, and that was that, mad props to that gunner though, he totally took us by surprise.

After this the Sentinel tank took a round past Urban, I hunkered, no point in getting lit up by a quad. When he passed and it kinda cleared I could assess that the house nearest the heli-pad was occupied by 3 or 4 MWA guys. They were pinning down our whole advance. Krutsie called out that he wanted that house and wanted to make a charge so I said screw it, let's all walk on'em and everyone got up, i'm pumping shots at the door, Mayhem is drowning this thing in paint and we moved up quite a ways before most of us got mowed. I hit the deck and kept crawling through the grass towards it popping off guys in the brush to the right until we put another charge together. Once I saw our guys clear the house I got up and sprinted inside and started pumping off shots at the dudes ahead in the plywood. We eventually cleared all the plywood bunkers between us and the left tower, but I remember someone, a Mayhem guy I think, asking why a dude with a pump was the guy in front, haha.

After this, I see Wicker bolting towards the left tower and Krutsie yelling something to the effect of, "Go get that thing Wick!" Amazingly he and 2 others make it to the net under the tower, but they were pinned out of reach of the flag rope. I got in an angle putting the netting under the tower between me and the MWA and just walked up to them. They had that flag rope on lock, so again I hit the deck and crawl up to it, flip over on my back, drop my pump, and start pulling the rope....in the wrong direction, I flip direction, but that rope had so much paint on it it was like greased, I thought for sure I was gonna take a hit in the hands, but nope, blue flag all the way up. I climp into the tower and start popping MWA in range, then it dawns on me to start calling targets down to our guys. At this point it looked like all of Mayhem was to my left so I started calling targets down to'em and they just rolled down that hill, it was badass.

I thought lunch was at 12:00 for some reason. I went out to the tent and found out I had till 1:00. So I decided I’d take off my tack vest and get my x7 and a pod pack. (my light setup). I walked up to Generals Quarters and asked Rogue if there was anything he needed. He said nope. Just joking I said I was going to go for a walk along the easy tapeline and see if I can’t find some enemy. As I walked I saw Standard my sniper walking back. Said Hi we talked about his Gilly being hot and a few non paintball things. A few minute later I decided to move on. I grabbed a daisy from the prairie a put it on my mask just to be goofy. I preceded to the last trail going into the woods. I could hear fire fights in the woods but figured it wasn’t my battle. I walked right down the trail for quite a while. After about a 15 minute walk I heard someone coming so I walk off trail and sat, watching two red guys just walk right by me. Again it was too far of a walk to let two dead guys know I’m coming to see Patches. I stayed in that spot and heard a bunch of people coming down the trail. I thought, oh ****, I’m doomed. They walked right on by me. The last person was a ref from Fredrick’s Paintball. I walked out into the trail behind them. Everyone was talking and not even paying attention (ref in the back, 8 pointblank Minutemen, a few chain gang guys and the rest were in camo).I walked up to the ref and put my hands on his shoulder and said” follow me while showing him my tape color” I walked up to each guy putting my hand on their shoulder and saying” the ref wants to talked to you. putting my finger up to my mouth then showing my arm tape. It worked for the first few guys so I proceeded with the same saying all the way to the last two guys in the lead. I walked up to the last two guys in the front and put my arms on each of their shoulders, ”hey guys, your out. I just barrel tagged your whole group. They said something like “what the hell “They turned around and at the bottom of the hill were all the guys standing with the ref waiving at them. I walked down with the last two guys and huddled them up. I counted 17. I preceded to tell the players they all had my respect for being quite and not spouting off ”He’s Blue” . they gave me congrats and started walking back to reinsertion.(One guy turned around and said "nice daisy" That whole time I had this stupid Daisy on my headgear.) I told them I’m heading out for lunch being there was only 20 minutes left. “see ya later” NOT.
I waited until they got out of site and proceeded down the trial behind them. I came up to purple base(I think)and Frog Dog was there and some other players. They had one guy in the woods but it seemed he bugged out. There were two walk ons there and I asked them if they wanted to go with me to headquarters. They laughed and said sure. We proceeded down the trail and walked up to Charlie 1. The flag was red. I switched the flag to blue and all of a sudden a dead guy comes walking up the trail. With my right side exposed, him not seeing my tape. He asked me where reinsertion was. I pointed up towards Charlie 2 and told him up the hill and to the right. So his left. As he was walking away one of the walk-ons giggled and guy turned his head around and looked at us. I coughed in a higher manner to match the giggle and said excuse me. Good work out there man . He said thanks and walked away. We proceeded up the hill and walked right into Charlie 2 changing the flag. I saw a ref talking to the same player we gave directions so I yelled at the ref “can I get a paint check” he looked at me funny ,probably wondering why the hell I needed a paint check. As he walked up I said I was blue and there is 8 minutes left in the game. Please note we changed Charlie 1 and 2 to blue. He noted it and we proceeded. I Literally walked with these two walk-ons right into red base. Looked over at the guys in Generals quarters and asked” Is this your flag?” they said yes. I knocked it on the ground and said “Hi I’m Krutsie from Woodland Security and I just dropped you flag for 10,000 points, then I walked up to the generals quarters and touch the tent. I told the ref to check his watch and it was 3 minutes to 1pm. I don’t even think they realized what just happened. After getting out for lunch I found out that two groups were heading to get my general. One group made it and shot him and my xo in the arse. But the other 17 man group just plain disappeared. LOL. Glad I didn’t go out to lunch early. They got points for shooting Rogue but I think the points me and the two walkon made off set that prize by a long shot. after all this I realized one of the walkons was wearing a Karnage vest and It was Iceman's(one of my Senior Team members) Girlfriends cousin he brought with him. How cool was that.

the two i got is for my buddy john, both are about him trying/taking a tower.
first one was 5 minutes before lunch, we had strong resictance and also people who didn't want to move up, well my buddy john was waiting for the right time to bunker hop, well he got pined down til one minute to go, when he heard the ref yell one minute he uncliped his pods and left his gun behind the bunker!! and fun out ran up the valley hill but time was called before he could tag the tower, and then after lunch he did the same thing but actually got the tower but then the blue tank rolled over the hill and then chased me and shot me in the back 3 times lol
