View Full Version : Best loader for a Pump.

Yea. Im wondering what the best loader for a pump would be. Would my Rotor be good, or a Sound activated Halo that i have? With my current setup both my Rotor and Halo dont fit in the feedneck. And would have to be sanded down, i would rather sand the Halo over the Rotor, Just wondering if the Halo would be a bad choice. The Halo is Sound activated.

Or maybe i should get one of those Proto Hoppers.

I would normally suggest against force feed hoppers, since you aren't shooting fast enough that you would need one, it's just more weight than you need. A aggitator or gravity would be all you'd need.

I use a HALO TSA Frontman they are a sound activated aggitating hopper, the best part about them is that they use tilt detection technology. If you tilt it to the right, it spins the paddles counter-clockwise. If you tilt to the left, it spins the paddles clockwise. I'll get a pic up when I get home from work.

I'm running a Ricochet Apache, it's pretty old school but works great and can be gotten pretty cheap. The only complaint is that it runs on 2 9 volts

I say you should fix your feedneck problem and get a trinity clamping feedneck. They are only 25$

The thing is. With my feedneck now. I have no idea how to get it off. It looks like its pretty permanent.

yep it is. The trinity upgrade slides over the outside of it. So it does make your hopper sit an inch higher, but that is worth it to me.

Whoever came up with this idea needs to get shot with a paintball gun that is. Seriously I have broke more feednecks with that feedneck. Lucky they were just Gravitys but still so annoying. End Rant/

These are for cyclones of course but you could easily make one for your pump! :)

They have a upgrade feed neck for the trilogy sport??
Last time I went looking for one I was told that there was none.
(at least for the trilogy sport).

All Trilogy's have the same feedneck

This is a must have as far as I am concerned

But that still wouldn't help with feednecks that are too thick. Since the Trinity goes over the top, and adds a collar at the very top of the slipfit, if your neck isn't fitting in the slip fit neck, it won't fit any better with the Trinity in (unless the neck of the hopper was too small for the slip fit).

that's when you cut off the stock feedneck leaving just enough for the new one to clamp on.

lol, that was my next suggestion. hacksaw and file, then you could use the ego feednecks

I used it today with just a gravity. I had no issues at all. I dont have an auto trigger so its not like i really need a loader for it.

I think ill cut down my feedneck on my gravity to make it sit a little lower, they make them so damn tall.
