You can go with either of 2 schools of thought on this.
Single Point Sling (http://www.blackhawk.com/product/Storm-Single-Point-Sling-XT-1-PT,1257,1342.htm). This attaches to a ring or the stock itself and allows the gun to hang while you transition.
3 Point Sling (http://www.blackhawk.com/product/Universal-SWIFT-Sling-3-PT,1258,1342.htm) sometimes called the 2 pt sling. This attaches to point on both the stock and foregrip, and runs a length along the gun.
The thing to remember with slings, you are dedicated to shooting from that side.
I run with both kinds and like them both. I would suggest finding ones with elastic in them, allows for full extension of your marker. You can find decent ones at CC Military or EBay. Like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/Multi-Purpose-3-point-QD-tactical-Rifle-CQB-Sling-Black_W0QQitemZ120530096710QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_H unting?hash=item1c10275246) or this (http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Tactical-Single-Point-Bungee-Sling-Green-or-Black_W0QQitemZ370294144599QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_D efaultDomain_0?hash=item5637403e57).
There are also attachments available to hook on your tac vest, if you wear one, but these are the sling options.

Just as an addendum:
2 point slings have two points of contact - The stock and the foregrip. There's one strip of material going from one point to another, like so:

3 point slings are called 3 point because they add a third point. The first two are the same as a 2 point sling. The third is on the sling itself and is used to generate the loop you shoulder.
In a 3-point, there's a strip of nylon/whatever the sling is made of that goes from point 1 (foregrip) to point 2 (stock). Then there's another strip that leaves point 2 (stock) and connects usually to an adjustable buckle that runs along the first strip.
Like so:

hmmm. i have no where to attach a sling to the front of my gun all the slings i've seen lately want you to have a ring of somesort in the front.
I also use an A-5, although I do not use a Stock on it, but do use the one point sling atached to the Cap Ring. I hang the gun in front of me without an arm through, this allows me to shoot either left or right without sling hang-ups. I know this does'nt help you much if your attached to using a stock, but it might be something for you to try while carrying your T9./AKA

Here's a great way to get a sling onto the front of an A5, I did it myself, and it's not too hard

I use a simple 2 point shotgun sling with my SP1 (with a CAR stock) and I just loop one end around the barrel. I have it tight enough so it won't slide off, but not so tight that I can't adjust my firing postition on the fly.

i've seen that video aswell. i'd rather not drill a hole in my gun if i don't have to. i'm always switching up my style of play so to drill a whole will be my last resort.

if one end is attached to the cap at the butt of the A5 then where do you attach the other end?
Same spot, I use a camera bag strap, it has two swival hooks and a nice foam pad on center, which feels good on back of the neck.

As you can see it hangs there in front and can easily be grasped to swing into action. If your not carrying bags and stuff.:)
You can also slip your arm through so it can hang at your side. You just have to adjust the length to get the right feel for how you play./AKA

hmm i might have to give that some thought. thanks AKA! you've been a big help.
No problem, just remember and you probably already know this but if anyone does'nt know, that is, this only works with a remote line, no tank attached to the gun./AKA

Sportsman's Guide in South St Paul has single point tactical slings (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=613142&ecid=EX07E) on sale right now as well. These would clip right on the end of your car stock.
As for the front connection, what kind of barrel are you running with? Do you have any rails? There are picatinny swivel mounts available with a quick disconnect. Just a thought.

Rap4 has a video explaining the diferent slings ,but keep in mind he explains uses that are used for markers with clip fed pain and air supply in the carstock. but it shows you alternate ways to conect the straps to your marker.
http://www.rap4.com/paintball/os/tippmann-98-single-point-sling
Note: on that picture aka posted above, I had a suitcase bage strap and clip on my rig(pictured left). I hooked it at the center weight point of my 14 lbs lady. don't make cracks about her weighing to much, she'll punch ya with paint ,lol

lol i won't and can't cause my 98 weighs a lot aswell. i'll post some pictures of my 98 when i am finished with the paint job on it. i also found that tippmann makes a sling that i might have to look into. probably talk with the CC guys and see what they say. do you use a secondary Krutsie?
