My Midwest Alliance brothers,
Once again, the time has come to engage in conflict with the Great Lakes Crusaders. On June 6, we stand ready to defend our security buffer; the patch of earth across the St. Croix that we were able to secure from the GLC almost a year ago.
This buffer is essential to the security of our civilians, as it prohibits GLC raids into our towns, into our homes.
I call on any groups or individuals, assist us in defending our freedom and our resources.
That is all.

Teams (or individuals bringing players), here's what you can do to help:
1. Post here or send me a PM with the expected body count. I'm working on a plan, but I need to know best to balance as a result of how big the teams/groups are.
2. If you have any specific preferences for roles (specialty roles, missions versus run 'n gun, anything), let me know as well. Please do that in a PM to avoid clutter in the recruitment thread and for operational security.
I have a rough draft plan, but it needs refinement with (hopefully) your input.
Again, anything that could be used against us by the GLC should be PM'd, not posted. The only posts involve "we're bringing X players from Y team" or something to that effect.

I should be able to get 3 to 4 people myself. cant wait to fight by your side. We just like to get in a good even firefight, and we work well together because we have played together since we were legaly allowed to.

But his greatest flaw... he published a book and still followed his tactics as described in the book, resulting in a defeat because:

Meanwhile, recruiting is looking good guys, but let's remember to keep extending invitations to the Midwest Alliance.

sounds good. Dont know if you know this, but what is the midwest at for numbers now? Patton was pretty great too except for the whole anger issue. I guess thats what made old blood and guts great though. Best general we americans have ever produced. Either him or Robert E Lee

I know what we have team player wise, not sure on walk-ons.

I was at my moms side family reunion today.(Were not close to moms side) I heard one of my cousins say her husband is into paintball to someone else. A big red light went off in my head. i asked her were they play and what kind of paintball do the do. she said they get about 10 guys toether and gilly up and play Ellimination, sh said they were going to a huge game in wisconsin on June 6th. I Laughed and said GBG at Splat tag in Hundson,Wi. she said yes. well they preregistered and i told her they could Hang with woodland Security if they wanted . he will be contacting me. should be 5 more guys.

AKA and MondoMor are tough opponents. We're going to need more than "run 'n gun" for this event.
It's going to be a hard game, but one that will be a lot of fun.

No really, congratulations on your new position. If you want to try and figure out this mess we have all gotten ourselves into then Welcome to it.:D
It's a great experiance to have atleast tried, no matter the outcome. I do know that there are players out there made for the Job and Thalion is one of them. If you have seen him at work as an XO or a Feild Commander then you know what I mean. MondoMor and Myself can only take what we have learned from our first and only Command and better it by not making the mistakes only we knew we had made.;)
Thank-You for the Kind words to Me, my Club, and The GLC. For this, I will not form a Special Unit to hunt you down to pay for joining up with the Alliance and taking an Officers Chair. But I cannot give the same promise to smkeillor, for he may need an extra pair of training pants by the time the Special Unit finally lets him go.:D/AKA

Thanks for sparing me the wrath of your Special Unit AKA! Smkeilor if you're worried about those training pants i'm sure we can find you something safer to do, but i'm guessing you won't have it.
I really enjoyed helping you and Modo out at the Hunt and planned to try to up that for the Crusaders, but considering what I know of Thal's dedication to the game and finding out he was XO-less(?) I felt I had to step up and help out. Tough call, because I love the action, and the pressure under fire, but i've done the lone wolf thing, been a rally captain, and now we'll see if i can hack this eh?
At the end of the day we're all on the same side, we're all woodsballers, but for now, it's game on. :)

It looks like Woodland Security will be about 15 strong.I have relatives from Iowa coming up so we might have 5 or 6 tag alongs.Any missions we can perform . We stand ready. I look forward to meeting you C4.Jamie can make laminated maps for those who need one. he asks for a small donation to cover ink and lamination paper. let me know who wants one.

Your team came out of the gates swinging fought the good fight. Good job by all.
When the dust settles I would like to sit down and talk about the game a little, get some feedback for both Generals.

Thank you Darrin for hosting the game and for the opportunity to try out what being a general is like, and for all those players on both sides who endured that awful rain.
I'd be happy to help with future GBGs through feedback after I return from OK D-Day (yeah, I'm leaving Monday for the whole week).
