Hey I know Elimination and Cap the Flag are the most played in open play, but I also know that a ton of paintballers play games from the Call of Duty series.

Does anyone else think it would be pretty cool to play some rounds of paintball that are like the different multiplayer game modes like Search & Destroy?

Starting point for either team

2 bomb sites, A & B, out of sight of the starting points

One team has to get to the bomb sites and defend them

One team carries a mock bomb with an egg timer and has to set it to 30 seconds on a site and defend it while it counts down

If the defending team finds the bomb they can defuse and they win

If the bomb goes off the other team wins

Maybe there are already timers at either site that any player on the attacking team can set to make it simpler, but anyone who plays CoD knows this can be a pretty intense game mode.

Man I don't know about anyone else but i could sure go for a Call of Duty Scenario game, that would be freaking awesome, and it souns simple enough and sweet at the same time. I would be up for it.

I have a TNT prop (and a timer that could be taped to it), I play COD4 as well. Maybe my team will have to try this out sometime. I'll post up how it goes if we do it.

we face a problem though with doing search and destroy and that is no respons, i think headquarters would be more suited for paintball to keep the action moving and everyone having fun.

Couldn't we also mix some of the game modes as well, it doesn't have to be either one or the other, it could be a combination of both.

well, we can always tailor game modes to fit, some people dont like that cause it loses authenticity etc etc. Combat paintball is doing a Call of Duty scenario in their scenario slam but its undetermined whether it will be modeled after the online game or the single player campaign.
