Paint off Paint...

How do I get paintball paint off my car paint?

Some young boys (under 25) were throwing paint at each other in the lot at the Hunt for the Cure, and some hit my car, didn't see it till I got home. I washed the car but the paint outline is still there. Any ideas?

Scrubbing it with a rag and warm soapy water has always worked for me, even on paint that has been there for a week.

At one point, i had some cleaner called purple muscle. Now, this was the only time i used it, but it took 2 year old paint off of a car windshield and needless to say i was impressed. It was the only time ive ever used it but that incident has always stuck out in my mind.

Yeah, try scrubbing it with warm water and a mild soap. I believe a lot of paint manufacturers use fish oil and other slightly water repellent but still water soluble ingredients in their paint. Good luck...

The Purple cleaner I had worked great on a test spot, so I'll use that on the rest. Just spayed it on, wait a minute, hose it off. Worked great.
