April 25th ~You can get your entry to The Hunt for the Cure paid for~

For those of you that are close, and far too if the funds are there in this economy, we've put together something that was the result of a team brainstorm to get more people interested in paintball. We've made this one to get people excited about The Hunt and to get more people going.

We're having a 2v2 tournament. Prizes are trophies, The Hunt Entry paid (or $35) and a $20 Fleet Farm Gift card (or $20)

HPA is $5 of BYO. CO2 is Free. Paint is BYO. Food and water is BYO.
Entry: $5/team ($2.50/person)
Location: 15 min N.W. of Winona, MN

Prize breakdown:
Each member of the winning team of 2 will get a trophie. The winning team will then 1v1 of which the 1st place person will get thier entry paid for the hunt (or $35) and the 2nd place person will get a gift card to Fleet Farm (or $20).

We will meet at the old Econo Foods (connected to JC Penny) parking lot in Winona at 10 AM and head out from there.

Looks pretty good. Will the field be pretty small? I hope so considering it's two on two!
Also will it be symetrical?
Will a field layout be available before hand?
How many teams are currently registered?

yeah. It'll be a small section of the area we use and the area used will be taped off. Each team will run twice, once from each side. In the event of a 1-1 tie the quickest win will advance. It's mainly a way to get people all gunho about The Hunt. The layout will be modified up to the start of the game and everyone is inviteded to help set up the bunkers, just remember you're going to be playing both sides.

Not exactly sure on the numbers. I'm going to guess prolly about 8 2 person teams so chances are pretty durn good on getting a prize either by placing in 1st or 2nd or in the drawing. Playing Rain or shine.

But then there may be people coming that haven't contacted me. We have flyers up in Winona, Arcadia and LaCrosse/onalaska.

Not sure. I guess that's up to the people. I know my buddy and I are still playing and I'm leaving in about 10 min to get some of the other guys all ready to go.

Bring a set of dry clothes with you. It'll make the ride home so much better.

No.. it's to bad your on the Coalition... j/k. Seriously though it was great to meet more guys from the Bunker Busters. We met Ewok a couple weekends ago and he was a great guy too. And Congrats on winning the tourny too.
