Semi auto means one trigger pull = one ball.

The reason they would state a rule like this is to prevent someone from getting all Rambo'ed up and just lean on someone using full auto. Worse case scenario at close range...
Its not any fun being on the receiving end of this kind of barrage and it could possibly cause an injury and therefore trouble for the field owner. As Sarge said it means one ball per trigger pull. Of course, how fast you can pull your trigger is another matter, some people I know can "walk" their trigger fast enough it seams like they are shooting either burst or full auto. The difference is control. Any idiot can pull the trigger and hurt someone using full-auto.

ah, i see, just what i thought.... thanks....
99% of all electro's guns have a ramping and/or bounce mode. Where the gun does all the work instead of the player.
Semi rule in a lot of cases is to help make the game more about the players and not the guns they use.
