Just received an email for these. Not sure how I feel about throwing metal thing around players.

But it does kook call. They are like lawn darts. I see the web site pictures now show them with some foam.

the guy had a both last year at OK Dday and i remember him trying desperately to sell them as he started off the week with his price a little high. Cool concept and it seemed to work pretty well when i seen the demo of it, but i totally can see it maybe being a safety hazard. I personally never seen the owner shoot one out of an actual launcher.

I remember this guy at D-Day.

I simply pointed out to him that nothing happens if it doesn't land exactly right on that trigger. He wanted to make it sound like it always does land on the trigger.

Pretty sure that's not going to be the case in the real world, safety aside.

Add safety and price to it, and there's no way people are going to be using these.

Reminds me of cap grenades when I was a kid. Now, you put a trip wire on that thing and plant it in the ground you've got a nice paintball bouncing betty.

Yeah evolkers and I saw these at OK DDay. Look like they work pretty well, but one of the problems would be trying to recover them after you threw them at someone.

and if some one found one laying on the ground and picked it up your out a decent amount of cash.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. Or even if you just can't find it for some reason. I think the cheapest i saw the guy at OK DDay selling them for was like $30 each.

I say no thanks to that product. If you got square in the chest or something, first of all it would hurt really bad, and second, you might get a few paitballs to your chin or other places under your mask.

I personally wouldn't like the chance of taking one of these under my mask....But I love the idea of the bouncing betty because of the control issue.

I could see the design used like a claymore. step on it and it comes out of the ground and sprays. but not a projectile. or you could make a nerf rocket with the same idea but allow at liest 1 inches of foam between the trigger point and the balls center of the football. I couldn't emagine getting hit by one of those .

To be honest, I would beat the everloving **** out of anyone who launched one of those and hit me in the head, or broke my mask something
